The Crane Kick is Daniel's Ultimate attack. You will only have access to Daniel and Johnny during the Kreese fight, but they will share the Ultimate meter. This means you can work on Kreese with either character, using combos to build your Ultimate meter until it fills. Once full, switch to Daniel, make sure you are facing Kreese and roughly on the same "plane" (not too far north or south of him horizontally) and press 
+
. This does not need to be a kill shot, it just needs to hit him. Achievement should pop shortly after the attack connects.
You can build the meter at least twice during this fight, so if you happen to miss the first try, you'll get another chance. If you miss both hits or if Daniel falls before you get a chance to make an attempt, you should be able to let both characters get knocked out to get the option to Replay from Checkpoint.
