How to unlock the Green Belt achievement in Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues - Definitive Guide
I want to preface this by saying I HIGHLY recommend making a checklist of all challenges on all belts that you can refer back to outside the dojo. If you're going for a full completion, you'll end up replaying most levels to get S rank for a collectible anyway, but keeping a reference handy will cut down on additional run throughs.
Karate Challenges are specific goals that, as you complete them, will give you coins towards upgrading your characters. At the end of each level, you'll be taken back to your dojo where you can check on your progress and claim any finished challenges.
If you play through both campaigns on a single save, any progress from the first campaign will transfer over to the second campaign. Environmental attacks are performed by pressing either near a special object or by a surface like a wall or guard rail. The descriptions of some Challenges are a little misleading as it sounds like you might have to use normal punches or kicks, but every Challenge on this list can only be completed with your attack. The list of challenges for this belt are as follows:
I Love That Place - Use the Arcade big Sign
(On the first level, you'll encounter an enemy sitting in front of a large sign post. You'll also see a window pop up with a tutorial on how to perform enviromental attacks. Walk up to the enemy and press to grab him and slam him head first into the post.)
Lebron - Throw an Enemy into Basketball Hoops
(Continue playing through the first level and you'll eventually get to a screen with three arcade basketball machines in the background. Stand near one of them and allow an enemy to approach you, then press when they get close. It make take a few tries to get the positioning correct but you'll eventually Kobe one of them into the hoop.
There is a corresponding achievement that unlocks upon completing this Challenge:)
Kinda Our Thing - Stuff an Enemy into the Octopus
(In two seperate sections of the first level, there will be an oversized stuffed octopus on the floor. Stand to the left of it and press when an enemy gets close to slam them headfirst into it.)
Smile - Use the Photo Booth
(Shortly after the basketball hoops, there'll be two foosball tables with a photo booth between them. Stand near it and press when an enemy gets close to kick them into it.)
Wall Smack - Punch or push 10 enemies into a surface
(Unless you specifically avoid environmental attacks, you will easily get this during normal play. The hit detection for environmental objects is a little wonky sometimes, so there will be plenty of times when you'll do this without trying. Any strike should count towards as long as the enemy hits a surface.)
Mouse Trap - Get an enemy in the mouse's mouth
(During the final boss fight on the first level, you'll see a big mouse head in the background. Stand by it and press when any enemy other than the boss gets near to cram them in there.)
Vandalism - Stuff an enemy into a Porta Potty
(There are several of these scattered over the game's levels. You can kick any non-boss enemies into one with your attack.)
Wall Kicking - Kick 10 enemies into a surface
(Just like with Wall Smack, this will come naturally while working on other Challenges for this belt.)
This Don't Work - Smash 3 enemies into Recycling Bins
(Just like the porta potty Challenge, you'll see plenty of these recycling bin objects over almost all the levels in the game. There are three holes on each bin, so technically you can do this at the first bin you find if you'd like. Move to the left of the bin to stuff an enemy into the left hole, right side for the right hole, then try to get near the center to use the center hole.)
Break a Leg - Karate Chop 5 enemies in Stretchers or Fuzzball tables
(There are two "Fuzzball" tables directly in front of the photo booth in the first level. Two more can be found in the 5th Avenue Bar level just after you enter the bar area. There is a stretcher in the All Valley Tournament Arena level to the right of a small trophy table and just before a large tournament board. This is definitely cumulative, so you can replay levels to get to five total.)
Summertime - Smash 10 enemies into Sunglasses stands
(Sunglass stands can be found in the Shopping Mall and Beach Bonfire levels. There are a few also scattered on various street levels but they're not as plentiful as the recycling bins. You may need to replay a level or two in order to mop this one up.)
Bully - Smash 10 enemies in the Lockers
(This can only be performed on the West Valley High School level. The description is a little misleading as it does not specify which lockers count. Look for the smaller lockers with a green glow around them and perform your with an enemy nearby. You'll know you have the right one when you get the slow motion mini scene of shoving the enemy into it.
There aren't 10 total lockers on this level, but you do play this level once during each dojo playthrough at a minimum. It's up to you if you want to replay the level to fulfill the Challenge on your first play through. The good news is that once you hit the 10 mark you can quit out of the level as your progress should be saved.)
Nerd Stuff - Finish 5 enemies using a Trophy Cabinet
(These are also only found on the West Valley High School level. There are three or four through out the level you can use. The entire left wall of the boss fight section is also all trophy cases, but I was never able to trigger an attack to slam an enemy into one. As with Bully, you can either replay the level on your first dojo playthrough or let your progress carry over to your second dojo playthrough and finish it there.)
Wall Master - Kick 50 enemies into Walls
Push Master - Punch or push 50 enemies into a surface
(Anytime you are close enough to a wall or other surface, you can use to knock an enemy into either the front or back wall of the stage. If you mix an attack into your standard punch or kick combos, you shouldn't have any problems getting this. If you find yourself severely lacking, you can keep spamming against enemies in a level to help speed things along.)
As a side note, I've found some of the challenge counters will either reset to 0 at the end of the level or only show your x/y score from the previous level, then reset when you go into the next one. On my playthroughs this seemed to happen to random challenges on different belts. If you find one the challenges is not progressing, try to fulfill all the requirements for it on a single level. I recommend the longer story progression level (larger icons on the map) as it will give you plenty of cannon fodder to work with.

So what are you supposed to do if there isn’t enough in the level to get in a single run? Sunglasses stands is stuck at 2/10 and there’s no levels with 10.

@Squiggles2013 I'd just keep at it honestly. Keep a tally on a sheet of paper and make sure you've hit 10. I don't remember that one being one of the challenges that didn't reset progress for me but I can't say the same for others. The game isn't exactly polished unfortunately.
