How to unlock the Yellow Belt achievement in Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues - Definitive Guide
I want to preface this by saying I HIGHLY recommend making a checklist of all challenges on all belts that you can refer back to outside the dojo. If you're going for a full completion, you'll end up replaying most levels to get S rank for a collectible anyway, but keeping a reference handy will cut down on additional run throughs.
Karate Challenges are specific goals that, as you complete them, will give you coins towards upgrading your characters. At the end of each level, you'll be taken back to your dojo where you can check on your progress and claim any finished challenges.
If you play through both campaigns on a single save, any progress from the first campaign will transfer over to the second campaign. Keep in mind that this achievement has challenges with dojo-specific requirements, meaning the challenge or parts of the challenge must be completed by either specific Cobra Kai members, specific Miyagi-Do members, or a combination of both. The list of challenges for this belt are as follows:
Furious Punches - Finish 20 Enemies with Miguel/Robby Personal Punch Skill
(Using Miguel or Robby, hold down and press to perform your Personal Punch Skill. I think you start with this skill on both characters, but if not, you can purchase it from your dojo. If your skill has a damage over time effect, the finish should still count as long as the damage over time was a result of using your Personal Punch Skill)
Kick Fury - Finish 20 Enemies with Tory/Sam Personal Kick Skill
(Using Tory or Sam, hold down and press , similar to Furious Punches)
Ex-Friends - Finish 15 Enemies with Hawk/Demetri Jump Skill
(Using Hawk or Demetri, hold down and press )
Just for Kicks - Finish 15 Enemies with Johnny/Daniel Kick Skill
(Using Johnny or Daniel, hold down and press )
Beat Them Up - Finish 30 Enemies with the Dojo Punch Skill
(Using any character, hold down and press )
Kick Them Up - Finish 30 Enemies with the Dojo Kick Skill
(Using any character, hold down and press )
Lift Them Up - Finish 30 Enemies with the Dojo Jump Skill
(Using any character, hold down and press )
Blow Them Up - Finish 30 Enemies with the Dojo Parry Skill
(Using any character, hold down and press )
Obliteration - Finish one enemy with each of your characters' Ultimate
(For every character, wait until your Ultimate is charged, then aim towards an enemy and press and together. This will have to be done with all eight characters (four in each playthrough) to fulfill the requirement. Although you should get this through normal play, *DO NOT complete the final mission on your first playthrough if you haven't gotten a finish with each character's ultimate on that playthrough.* The game will lock you out of the dojo you chose to playthrough first as soon as you finish the final story boss in the Valley Fest mission. At current, the only way to correct this is to start a brand new save, so be sure to check this as you play. Once you hit 4/8 during your first playthrough, you're all set)
As a side note, I've found some of the challenge counters will either reset to 0 at the end of the level or only show your x/y score from the previous level, then reset when you go into the next one. On my playthroughs this seemed to happen to random challenges on different belts. If you find one the challenges is not progressing, try to fulfill all the requirements for it on a single level. I recommend the longer story progression level (larger icons on the map) as it will give you plenty of cannon fodder to work with.
