This will unlock after beating the second boss battle of the game, and powering up the green orb (which can be used to change specific columns between gas and solid).
This boss fight is a little more involved than the previous one. Here, some pillars will come out of the ground. You need to identify the one with the orange glow inside, then kite the boss so it charges into this pillar. This will release the bomb for you to interact with it. Yank it to pull it free, and you'll shoot up on it. While riding it, you need to dodge some projectibles the boss shoots. Afterwards, approach the boss, hover over it to open it up, and use the bomb on its opening. Repeat this a few times until it changes to its second phase, which is functionally the same as the first boss: avoid the moving obstacles in the arena until you can reach the bomb, dodge the projectiles, then finish the boss off.
