Cocoon has 11 total collectibles known as Moon Ancestors. These can be acquired as you play through the game, or easily mopped up using chapter select once you finish the story. They are most often hidden just off the main path; may involve a small and simple puzzle, and are unlocked with an interaction.
Once you use the platform to enter the area, head into the main puzzle, grabbing the orange orb, make it go through the pipes, grab the walker, and bring them back to the center using the bridge node. Afterwards, go straight down revealing a secret area. You'll need to activate both switches; using the walker for help. This reveals the moon ancestor which is accessed via a bridge from the top.

Continue with main story progression until you receive the purple orb. Shortly after this, you will continue on the main path where there's an elevator that requires you to place both the orange orb and the green orb to activate. After this, the orange and green orbs float around and fly off into different directions. It is in this area that you can find the Moon Ancestor.
After you reunite with the orange orb, in the north-eastern part of this area will be a pipe that you can drop the orange orb into. The orb will roll through the pipe and you can then collect it on the other side of the stalagmites. Take the orb north-east just a bit more and you can then get the walking pedestal. This is the location where the game recording starts. Take the walking pedestal back from where you came (use the pressure plate to make a path for it).
I believe getting to this point is required as part of main story progression.
Now, head directly south and down some steps. Place the pedestal on the first pressure plate in this area then remove the orb from the pedestal. This will keep the pedestal on the plate (it will no longer follow you), allowing you to stand on the second plate and release the Moon Ancestor.

If you're having to go back for this it's the 46% load, which relates to 17:35 in the video.

I noticed that the other guides didn't show that from the 46% load you have to walk back to the platform and activate it to travel backwards. That meant you needed to read comments or look at other guides to see how they got to their video's 'starting point', so if you only had 5 minutes to get your Daily Achievement you'd run out of time!
You should be able to follow this video and get it done within 5 minutes of turning on your console.

This Moon Ancestor can be found at the 46% mark.
This checkpoint starts you where both the orange and green orbs fly away from you. Head to the upper right to get the orange orb back like usual, and head right into the area you need to go to next. If you explored at all here, you likely came across the canyon in the south. You can head there now for reference (its path is just left of the orb tube opening where you can drop an orb) to see there are two pressure switches that need to be stood on. To activate them both, you'll stand on one, but you need to bring an orb robot down for the other. Head back up and progress through this section like normal, sending the orange orb around in the tube so you can place it in the circular area, activating an orb robot. Bring that robot back to the left and lead it down to the canyon from before, next to the orb tube. Lead it onto the left pressure switch, and when it's standing on it, take the orb from it so it stays there. Go stand on the other pressure switch yourself to raise the ground up. Interact with the markings to release this Ancestor.
