Valuables are items found in the world, they ALL look like shining sparks in the world (any item you can pick up looks like that), but when you pick them up (you are close enough for game to tell you to press 
to pick up) the game tells you what you have picked up. You can also check your inventory.
Several NPCs might be crazy for the same Valuables. Giving Valuables to NPCs in your base can give 1, 2, 3 or 5 Trading Points for that NPC or if NPC doesn’t like the item he/she will simply not take it and tell you to give it to someone else. This list only includes Valuables that are worth 2 or more points; if an item is not listed under a character then it’s either worth 1 point for them or the character doesn’t like it.
As you progress you unlock more NPCs and they join your base, so spoilers?
To get this achievement you must give an NPC a Valuable he likes the most! (he/she will give you 5 Trading points for it). Item list below has NPC name in bold for items they like most.

I got this from giving Yakumo a blood bead candy. If you teleport to ruined City Underground (Outer Crossroads) you can purchase this item and many more, each item costs 1 Old-World Materials.

You find items laying around game that are valuables some more to certain NPC's than others, I got this trophy when I gave a well-worn tool I found to Murasame. Also if you found you gave item to someone and it did seem to be as valuable to them you can force shutdown and go back into game and item will be back again just make sure you save before giving items if you want their friendship to go up quicker.

Throughout the game world, you will collect various junk from the old world. Each piece of junk can be exchanged to your partners at Home Base for anywhere between 1 and 5 trade points. You will need to give someone a +3 or +5 rated item to earn this achievement. Use the spreadsheet HERE that lists every item as well as how many points they give.
