In this video guide I will show you how to defeat the Successor of the Breath in the Ridge of Frozen Souls. This fight is not too bad overall. Just make sure to keep Cleansing Light active as best you can and use Final Journey to get full health. I would not worry about the skill cooling down as the fight will be over with by then. I also used Io for this fight which seemed to work out pretty well.

This boss like other bosses has some basic melee moves and swings. This one is a bit slower, so make sure to just dodge behind for a few melee hits and back out. He does have some jumping attacks to close distances so be aware of that. He also has an ability to make an icicle come from the ground at you. Once he is halfway he will ditch his shield and start punching more. With the mix of using his arm as a ice blade and more ground ice moves. As always like most bosses do, he also has a charge ability. The achievement will pop once he is defeated.
