This requires you to rescue your partner and make it all the way back through 1-1B and complete the game without ever using a melee. I highly recommend that you remap melee to something you won't hit (I used 
). Several times I hit the melee but instinctively which would have ruined the run otherwise.
I also highly recommend at least 1 partner. They will shoot at the snakes/scorpions which you would normally melee and clear them for you.
You can still roll through boxes to find supplies.
