How to unlock the Buddha Says achievement in Comix Zone - Definitive Guide

This is the second part of a good Videowalkthrough. With this Video the game is very simple to complete because of all the hidden item that are shown in it. Just be sure to save often.

Defeat the boss of the second page of episode 2 to get this. Dodge the fireballs that runs along the water by jumping over them (they'll come from the direction of the hand he fires from them, ie: left hand comes from the left). Duck or jump over the fingernails he fires, and try to use a powerful attack (like repeated and alternating diagonal kicks) to knock him into them.

To make this really easy, try saving some dynamite or a power fist if you're lucky to get one by the "?" that Roadkill sniffs out in the second panel of the second page. Just save before you pick it up and reload if you don't get the power fist.

This is story related and therefore can't be missed. Episode 2 is Welcome to the Temple. Proceed through the routes of the comic until you make your way towards the boss, Kung Fu Master. Below is the strategy to defeating the Kung Fu Master boss:


During this boss fight, Kung Fu Master will hover over the background field and will shoot fire balls out from his hands that will land into the water to create a shockwave that will harm you. Jump over these water shockwaves repeatedly until Kung Fu Master faces you face to face. When he attacks he'll shoot his long nails at you like a knife. He's able to fire two of these nail blades at you (also note that these will explode upon contact). Dodge these attacks by jumping over them or ducking under them depending on the angle he shot from. The ones that you dodged will get stuck on the walls behind you. From here it's best you jump up in the air and kick him into his own nail explosives. Rinse and repeat until the Kung Fu Master is dead.

Note: Kung Fu Master will usually say "How fast are your reflexes?", but when he says "I'm everywhere", he's about to die.

Episode 2 is entitled Welcome to the Temple. As with the rest of this game, routes and options are farily straight forward. Once you complete this episode you will unlock the achievement. The boss battle for this episode is Kung Fung.

In this battle, Kung Fung will hover over the background. As this occurs, keep an eye on his hands. When you see them light up, that is your que to jump out of the way of the energy ball. When he comes to you from the background, jump over his attack (exploding fingernails I believe), which will consequently leave him stuck in the wall. From there, utilize a jump dragon kick as you did in the first boss battle, and kick him into his own explosives. Rinse and repeat a few more times and this will lead to the demise of Kung Fung.
