What is the southernmost rock/triangle icon? I have been flying all around there for 25 minutes and can't find the trigger for it. Even tried looking underwater as well.

Edit: I see Bastian Reader clarified that this one is underwater. It's called The Glowing Cavern. Annoying.

This was just recently added to Xbox Play Anywhere. So If you have a PC the load times will make this a lot quicker, when teleporting to locations

I went to every location, however, it hasn't popped. I even brought up an interactive map which had an additional Watchtower location that doesn't exist on my map. But the Interactive map was also missing another location "Duskholme"

Did you do this all in one go? I spent an hour logged off then came back and finished up. Did anyone use the PC version of the game?

@EPSILON 616 That Interactive Map was based on the Steam version, which at the time of writing said map, had this achievement glitched. The author has admitted that the second watchtower is not necessary in a second draft and has also admitted to omitting some locations (notably the ruins in the bottom left and the second location directly above the tower) in this first draft.

The Map here in the solution was what I followed. I bought up the interactive map to double check locations and verify their names on my third run through.

I'm still trying to get to the bottom of why this achievement hasn't popped for me after following the locations on the map in this guide.

Its why I was asking if the people who got the achievement did not log out and return to finish the achievement like I did. Did they use the PC version of the game? I'm trying to figure out why it is buggy with all the locations obtained.

The black spot on the left hand side of the map is a location. If you do not have the achievement go there.

I followed the map and DID unlock the achievement after some searching and backtracking for locations I didn't get.

My final 'missed' point - as mentioned above' - is the 'black hand', located on the left / west side of the map at the bottom right / south-east section of the green oval, between the cave and the cairn icons.

One other 'trick location' is just above / north of the central tower, where there are two locations on top of each other.

i've tried this achievement twice now and both times the achievement didn't unlock using the map in this guide is there something i'm missing or is it glitched for me ? any ideas or fixes to get it to unlock would be appericated

The map in this solution seems like it is missing one location because it does not appear as a white icon like the others. It is a black hand called “The Ashen Core” which is hard to see. On the west side of the map where the green section is find the location called “Fuming Cave”. If you trace a line north east you will see a point called “Gates of X’chotl”. Between these two points is a well defined red strip that is thick on the western side and narrows slightly as it goes east. Teleport to the eastern part where it is narrow and walk around a bit. Hope this helps.

I JUST UNLOCKED IT: That watchtower on the right/left of the Leyshrine of the fiends; The one with the interactive map was the location that unlocked the achievement for me and I had made sure I had every other one. There has been an update or 2 since the last time I played this about less then 6 months ago.

Got everything and nothing

. Checked everything location half dozen times now ( with printouts of the map above, the interactive map, and a screenshot of my map). 100% sure nothing is missing.
There's some mention of not using ghost. I accidentally toggled it on, and immediately off when I was aiming from enabling Fly once. Will that have negated the achievement for this playthrough?

There’s an eye in K7 (and it wanted, as ever, a very specific patch to be walked on …above the sand but below the thin walkover with jackals and umm I encountered a random fish that I’ll be putting on my Xbox because that was weird as!!)

Kept telling me there was game corruption with an hourglass beside it, right before this popped and I thought there was a bigger problem than just finding the spot I missing!!!

Going crazy trying to get this today, double checked every map I could find and all the comments above multiple times, then finally started just teleporting to places that looked like they might have a location. Found one that doesn't seem to be listed on these maps, and my achievement popped as soon as I found it. It is on the bottom left island, on the southern piece of land curving out from the island. The icon is a skinny tower icon, and the location is called "Cracked Vault". Southeast from the hand icon called "Dusky Inlet", and Southwest from the mountain icon called "The Fractured Citadel".

Missing locations for this guide:
Center of the map slightly south east of that there is lighter rocky area that looks like an arrow.

South West coast line. Looks vaugley bananalike when you zoom in. There is an area where the sand on both sides pinch the forest. It is at the north section there.

For locations that are close together you can also enable Fly in the Admin Panel under Other Commands. Use A to gain altitude and up on the D-Pad to increase your speed.

Better than constant load screens.

EDIT: After realizing that there is a black hand icon that I didn't notice before (it's on the very left hand side of the map, in the greenish patch roughly in the middle of that left hand side), as soon as I went there it unlocked. If you think you've been to every location but you're probably missing one, that is likely it.

Also, when you fly around, you need to touch the ground in that location for it to "unlock".

It’s difficult to describe, but using the map in the solution, the spot between the two points I gave you, along the directional line I told you looks like a black spot. If you zoom in on it you can sort of see it looks like a hand marker. On a map where that spot hasn’t been found, that point looks red on the map. I used this exact map and got the achievement. If you don’t have a black colored hand on your map, it is for sure missing for you and that it where it is.

I just got this. What I did was use the interactive site first since you can zoom in and get a better feel of the exact spot. After getting everything I noticed that the screen shot in this solution has (at least) two differences, meaning that the watchtower to the right of the center of the map isn't really a spot (so don't waste your time there) and my final spot was the one in the south between the 4 hand spots (missing from the interactive map). Also made sure to get the black hand as already mentioned. Good luck everyone

Some tips:
1. Not featured on this map is a location to the bottom-right of the center tower region.
2. Notice the location where the player is standing on the map.
3. Notice the black symbol on the map to the southeast of #2; it is black while all the others are white.
4. Notice 2 locations nearly in the same spot just north of the center tower.
5. Notice 2 additional instances of 2 locations overlapping each other at the top-right of the map

This achievement is easier to get with the introduction of the new journeys with Age of Sorcery Chapter 3.

Reach level 25 and select the journey Island Cartographer.

You are instructed to visit the following locations.

The Barrens - I10
The Ashen Core - D9
The Camp of the Castaways - I13
The Bastards Stand - K10
Play of the Game Ones - J5
The Fractuted but Whole - F5

You are allowed to admin teleport, like with other achievements.
