Play through it normally and then when you get to the squid boss kill a bunch of oilmen. (this would also be a good time to get death rain by throwing 100 oilmen over the side of the boat and the 500 grapples.) If you are getting those 2 achievements you will get 50000+ on the squid level alone.

I also used the squid boss' never-ending oilmen to master about 8 moves.

Watch your health, because after a while it stops giving you the health bonus for moves like "pile driver".

just mix up your combos and it will continue giving u help. doin "piledriver" 5 times in a row will obviously trigger the "combo overused" alert and will negate any combo bonus u may recieve from mastering the move. in order to conitnue getting health throughout the boss fight simply switch out piledriver for moves like backbreaker (which gives u LOTS more health and is still a grapple kill) or in normal stance (one-handed) u can also use cimmerian charge, monkey slam, usurper throw or spinning death; all, if mastered yield those coveted green orbs. however if going for grapple kills only use those melee moves when necessary and continue getting those slam kills to make it as quick as possible.

i got this achieve on level 12 of my "king" difficulty game so almost two complete play-throughs to get it from regular play.

Just to let you guys know. If you get to the phase where you fight the giant squid's head on the boat and you get killed, you will restart on that phase and not at the very beginning of the boss battle. So don't worry about losing all your points if you make it that far and die. This goes for both Hard and King mode. But, if you die anywhere before that, you will start at the very beginning.

Also, once you're there it's easier to take out the oilmen with the Dual - Wield Combo (Fury Kick Y, X) plus it will give you +5 health orbs.

This is unlocked when you reach a total score of 100000 points, if you are going for the Fatal Touch and Death Rain achievements, you can spend some time gaining points during the Giant Squid Boss battle.
