Thanks to drno for the awesome guide

Note: If you mess up on an investigation/ dont get Gold on a level you can get a perfect on your next playthrough of the mission/investigation and it will still count. Thanks to Findlayfiend for the tip

If you can tell me what the correct answer is I can edit it into the guide as a side note for that section.

hi i was following this guide exactly and when i got to the first body investigation i only got "good" for the first part and then "Perfect" for the next two parts, it gave me the sleuth achievement but will i still be able to get the master investigator achievement without replaying the level?

hmm not sure, I'm positive you need to get Perfect on ALL segments, I followed this guide and got all perfects, so I'm not sure how you got a Good rating. Maybe pushed the wrong button?

I would just replay the level just in case and maybe cross-reference another guide somewhere to make sure you get a Perfect on that segment.

I made the same mistake because I saw the number 48 and it was a security badge not a police one I clicked on

Totally random, but you get this at the end of the last level, during the "Mission Completed" screen showing that you've earned GOLD Level. I was worried when it didn't pop after my last investigation.

anyone know what happens if you complete the game, having missed one mission, and then you go back to replay that mission later on a different playthrough? will this give you this achievement?

I can confirm that if you completely play through the game once and gold each mission/perfect each investigation, but missed a mission (like I did...missed an optional objective on my Hard playthrough), you CAN go back and complete that mission on your FPS playthrough and get the missed gold/missed investigation. I.e. the achievement description says perfection all the way through, but if you miss getting a perfect investigation on a mission on your first (Hard) playthrough, you can still perfect that investigation on your second (FPS) playthrough, without needing to perfect every mission that you've already gotten gold. Hope this helps anyone who ran into this problem and was questioning like me.

Thanks for the above comment Findlayfiend, it answered the exact question I came to find an answer to. I messed up somehow and got a silver rating and wanted to know if I had to start a whole new playthrough. I will finish my hard playthrough and just do it again on FPS mode, should be ok then.
