This can be done in either Ranked or Player matches.

You get this achievement by helping a teammate scan the evidence after they have already started scanning it. While your teammate is scanning walk up to the same evidence case and hold A to help them complete the scan. It will say "Scan Assist Bonus" at the top of the screen after you finish scanning.

Given the scarcity of online players in this game you are probably going to want to grab yourself a boosting buddy. You can do this with as little as 2 people by putting both players on the SCU team with no one on the Infected team.

This can be done in Ranked or Player matches. This achievement is for assisting in scanning ten pieces of evidence in the Crime Scene game mode. In this mode, an assist is when your teammate starts scanning the evidence and then you begin scanning as well. If done correctly, you’ll see an “Assist Bonus” at the top of the screen when the scanning is done and you’ll receive a support credit on the final screen. Importantly, multiple teammates can assist during a single scan. Since there are only two pieces of evidence per round, it will take a minimum of five rounds to unlock this achievement.

You need to perform scan assistance 10 times. When someone starts scanning you need to click and help complete the scan. If everything is successful, then at the top there will be a notification assist. Can be done in a player match with 1 friend.

You don't need to complete the scan, but allow your partner to do it. You should "assist"
