Conflict Denied Ops

This achievement is glitchy as hell. I have tried it half a dozen times on The first mission and nothing has popped.

When I finally got it, I got it from the mission most others say to do it. Mission 2 The Whaling station.

This mission is smaller than mission 1 and it is easy to back track on if you don't get it by the time the extraction Helicopter arrives.

For me, I shot every wall, and window and box between the mission start and the time I broke out into the final battle area and it popped when I was destroying the first building on the left from this door.

Shoot everything, windows, walls, barricades, boxs, wooden railings. Etc. Some wall panels are destuctible, there are paintings on the walls to destroy. Some of the windows will shatter too. others just constantly make the shattering sound, but shoot them all.

If you get to the point that you are ready to be extracted and you don't have the achievement yet, retrace your footsteps. This mission has multiple paths and you can miss areas with lots of boxs and wooden shelves to destroy

Several tips I have heard, but I cannot confirm

1) Do not do it in co-op. I think this is because the game splits the damage between the players.

2) do not swap characters, Once again I believe this is because it assigns damage to each individual characters.
I can confirm that if you accidentally press B and swap to the other character, that if you swap back and continue the destruction with your Primary it will pop. I accidentally swapped twice during the playthrough I got it on.

This solution is based on how I "finally" got this glitchy achievement. All the above information is gleaned from posts and conversations with others who got the achievement before me.

Do it in the first level:
1. Before getting to the tank, use the machine gun to destroy walls, statues, boxes ... anything that can be destroyed.
2. When you get to the last part, use the tank to destroy every buildings, barrels, and crates. This will unlock at the 75% mark. Mine unlocked when you get to the last part of the level with a church and a barricade, although I'm sure I destroyed everything in the level ... so don't overlook any destructible part.

Just adding to all of the above, all good tips, but If you still cant get this....

I tried everything, single player, split screen, doing it as lang, doing it as Graves, level 1, level 2, all the levels and it never popped.

I cleared cache, re-did level 1 and then 2..... still nothing.

As this was the last achievement I needed, i got annoyed and deleted ALL saves, cleared cache then unplugged my xbox live, thinking id start it "fresh"

Played the first level as Lang and to be honest im sure i missed things as i was just ploughing through this level for the 20th time ......and it finally popped just as i got to the barricades at the end and destroyed the first tower to the left.

So i guess if you still cant get it after following the above, get all other achievements first, delete your saves, then play this offline.

Just to add to *Tataki no kami* Solution.

Lets start off by saying this achievement is incredibly glitch-y for me i have went through 6-7 different levels until it unlocked and i no the reason why.

Because YOU have to destroy the objects, not the enemy and not the explosions.

I went through whaling station from start to finish without going MIA destroying everything and not back tracking. Because back tracking spawns other items, making the achievement void.

It unlocked right at the last area.

Another tip is to clear your cache, because i tried 6 levels, then i cleared it and done this method and it unlocked first try.
