You have to play the game for a whole 160h with the same character.
Making multiple characters won't work, but different companies or maps are fine, as long as you create that with your initial character.
But, in the current state of the game, this might glitch and stops or slows down adding time towards your total time played. The ingame stats count upwards, but the playtime in the profile (character) selector seems frozen. This can happen any time. And there is no known way to make it progress normal again.
