How to unlock the A New Dimension achievement in Contrast - Definitive Guide

Can't miss this - at the start you'll need to get into the courtyard to the ash cart, walk up to the shadow on the wall and press RT to shift into the shadows.

Did not pop or register on my alt, but I ALSO skipped the initial cut scene. Exited the game, Quit the Game, the when starting back up. the Achievement popped.....

Update: Seems it had nothing to do with skipping the cut scene. I has continued for every Achievement, Just glad this title is short.

TL;DR Try quitting the game, starting a new game, and not skipping anything.

Glitched for me on another profile - seemed to be because I skipped the cutscenes in the beginning of the game. I saved / quit / exited the game, then came back to it the next day, started a new game, and this time watched all the cutscenes (and got all the interactive objects in the first room (Didi's room)), and generally went slower through the game, the first time I shifted. Then this time it popped after about 10 seconds, as I went down to move the Ash Cart.

As the trophy says this is unlocked the first time you shift. This happens right outside the first room, it may be possible to shift in the first room. Walk towards a wall and hit the R2 button, you'll shift into the shadows and unlock this.

After following Didi through the bedroom window, you will be tasked with shifting onto the nearby building in order to reach the ground level. Here, you’ll want to tap the right trigger while standing next to the lit wall in order to transform into a shadow and reach the ground level safely. The achievement will unlock as soon as you shift onto the wall.
