How to unlock the Not That Kind Of Game! achievement in Contrast - Definitive Guide

In Act 1 when you're 'sposed to go to the Ghost Note theater, don't. Instead walk past the theater until you see a building that has a read "Dirty" sign, stand under the right-most "24h" wording at the door and press 'X', you will not be prompted to press 'X'.

This horrible!! On my alt, every achievement is not popping or registering unless I quit game & restart. Luckily I am following the guide, but this a horribly tedious.....I hope this doesn't happen through the whole game.

Update: Tried the game on another Alt & the same thing is happening. The Achievements are not popping or registering, unless I quit to dash & restart. This time I tested it & did the requirements for 2 achievement B4 quitting. When I loaded up the game, at the Main Menu, Both Achievements Popped. This is weird....

Also note that there are actually two clubs with XXX signs close to the Ghost Note, one on either side: this one with the Dirty neon sign on the left, slightly down the road past the Ghost Note, and the Pompeii on the right. The achievement only works for the Dirty club described above, not for the Pompeii. Just pointing that out because the first XXX sign I saw when I started looking around was for the Pompeii, and trying to enter that club didn't make the achievement pop, so I was pretty confused until I realized there was another one nearby.

This trophy is a little misleading so I wanted to share how I unlocked it. In Act I, very close to the Ghost Note lounge where Didi's mother performs is a darkened building with pink awnings proclaiming "Girls" on them. On the right hand side of this building is a door. All I did was approach the door and press the interact button (Square) and the trophy unlocked.

Nowhere did I see a "XXX" on the door but my settings could have the game darker than it should be. Let me know if you unlock this in a different way and I will adjust this solution.

Courtesy of mattclassof2000 and Lil_Mermaid_Girl, both have suggested that the building is directly to the left of the Ghost note as you face it.

I didn't see XXX on a door either, but it was on a sign next to the building. Also there are two buildings with the same sign. The first one didn't give me the trophy, but the second one did. So if you don't get the trophy on the first one you try just go to the other one and the trophy should pop. Both buildings are next to the Ghost Note.

I unlocked the trophy with the door located on the Dirty 24h building (left of the Ghost Note building)

Pass the Ghost Note on the right you will find the Dirty Shop. Just bump into the door and the achievement will pop.

At the start of the game, next to the Ghost Note, is a building called Dirty. Trying to enter the door should trigger this achievement.

This achievement is obtained during Act I, Chapter “Of All the Gin Joints…”

In fact, this achievement can be paired with "To The Heroes Among Us." Before activating the glowing record player in the middle of the street, you will notice a neon-colored club named, XXX, on the right side of the street. All you need to do is stand in front of the door of the club for about five seconds and the achievement is yours.

While in the streets before you get to the record player needed for the Heroes Among Us achievement, you'll see a neon sign that says "Dirty" and "24h". Interact with the door for this achievement.
