I don't think this pops in sandbox (I tried) and I never actually came across this without doing it deliberately. Thankfully there's a super easy way to do this.
Load up your career save and buy the blue gas canister, throw it at the two ovens stacked on top of each other and they should break immediately.

You can also buy a firecracker, place it in one of the two ovens, close the door and turn on the oven. Give it a few seconds and it will blow up

I couldn't get this to pop in the tutorial but worked first time on day 1 proper.
