Cooking Simulator

Same here. Played for over 10. Even deleted my saves on the system and cloud and nothing. Bit disappointing.

Guess I'll try 5 hours in one session and see if that does anything cause now I have 6 hours played on this game.

Doesn't work for me either

My Xbox game stats said that I played for 4 minutes, but I had been playing for at least a few hours. I exited to the main menu and then closed the game. Once I loaded up the game again and checked my Xbox stats, the time corrected itself. One more hour to go.

Edit: My Xbox stat now says over 5 hours but the achievement didn't pop, not even after exiting and reloading up the game. I'm on a Series X.

I've seen people say its not working for them, so I'll let you know how I got it. Basically what I did is load up a leaderboard challenge, chose a random meal, and afked there for 5 hours, I made sure I was moving all the time, just in case (I just tied a band around the controller), once the timer reached the 300 minute mark (I left it for an extra 10 minutes, not sure if this is needed or not), and as soon as I hit the pause button, the achievement popped.

Thx tottroy05 was the only way I could get this to unlock tried every other way nothing worked besides leaderboards challenge.

I finished it in challenge leaderboard mode. For the first time, I did nothing but hang up. When the timer reached 301 minutes, I returned to the main menu without unlocking. The second time, I finished the cooking but didn't submit it. Then I hung up. When the timer reached 315 minutes, I just touched the handle and rocker, and immediately unlocked the achievement. I hope it will help you.

If I remember correctly when I unlocked this achievement I went on to leaderboard challenge went to sleep doesn't matter if the controller turns off the time carries on regardless then

I woke up then I quit to main menu

Achievement didn't unlock but then I went onto

Freemode or practice mode whatever its called and as soon as I loaded in it unlocked

12h with 1 try as said in thread and still no unlock. F this game.

During second try, I started preparation at 290 minutes, then proceeded to just open random drawers and touching stuff. It unlocked at 299 while playing with the food processor.

Don't know if it will help, good luck to anyone trying this buggy mess.

Can confirm the leaderboard challenge worked. Left it overnight, came back and picked up one food item. Thought the game had froze but 30 seconds later it unfroze and the achievement popped without exiting the game.

x3 on the leader board challenge.
I had 7 hours on the Stats tab. Then did leader board challenge.
I was able to use fast resume (XSS) to keep my timer going. Once I fast resumed back in (showed 400ish minutes) i started moving around and it popped.

Leaderboard challenge method worked for me. Controller turned itself off etc but clock keeps ticking. Switched controller back on around 320 minutes and put some burnt food in the bin and achievement popped

Perhaps performing an action in the kitchen triggers a time check but worked for me

Such a buggy game tried leaderboard for the second time tonight hoping it works

For whatever it might be worth to someone - leader board challenge worked for me. I rubber banded the controller for 5 hours. It did seem like I needed to step in to get it to register. With the timer already at 305 mins, I took some food from the fridge and put it in the bin and the achievement popped.

I unlocked this achievement by doing the following. Selected Leaderboard Challenge. Rubber banded my controller and waited 305 minutes. Then I paused and nothing happened. I walked around and opened the fridge, and then selected the cardboard box bought the salt and set it down. Then the achievement unlocked when I picked up the cardboard box.

Can't get this to unlock either checked my stats have more than 5 hours played so dumb.

10hrs of playtime,including 7hrs on Sandbox mode and i saved after each run.
Nothing.

Maybe it won't work in this mode,or maybe you mustn't quit the game at all for this achievement.

I'm on Xbox One.Maybe it pop only on PC or Series
