Cooking Simulator

As mentioned by many, this may not unlock in sandbox. For me, the meat is totally charred but no achievement. I tried different meats with different appliances.

For some reason this hasnt worked for me in sandbox

I got this in sandbox.
I had a trout in the oven and a t bone in a pan on the grill at the same time.

I wasn’t able to get it with a steak on grill, but I got the pan and put some shrimp in it and fried them. This popped the achievement in sandbox mode for me!

I’ve burnt multiple items in both career and sandbox and gotten no achievement.

Tried both Career and Sandbox mode, no achievement. Tried all equipments in the kitchen, the griddle, stove, oven and microwave oven, and the frypan above mentioned method, still no achievement. was playing through XCLOUD

I tried multiple times also and got nothing.

Have tried in both career mode and sandbox mode, no luck as of yet. Hoping for a devs fix soon

Another unlock yesterday. Not sure how it was done but that gamer had just unlocked the "Finish tutorial" achievement and the next one after burning ingredient was "Unlock recipe in career"

EDIT: another unlock 2 days ago (3rd March) - have messaged gamer to see if they're aware of how they unlocked it etc. Will report back if i hear anything

EDIT 2: no reply with regards to above so still no new info on this one. Hoping for them to update the game as last achievement i need

Same here Compozrr, last one i need too. I try every now and again but no luck. Mostly try in sandbox but occasionally career too

I keep checking back here and noticed just now that there has been another unlock (10th April). I've messaged the gamer to ask if they remember how they done it (doubtful as might not realise the significance)

Anyway, i'll update if i hear anything back

Thanks Voodoo, hopefully it get fixed soon i did look at that gamer and his games completed and im not one for accusing people of cheating, but this guy is 100% cheating.

Would not expect a reply from him unfortunately.

Another unlock today. Has the full 76/76 the same as the gamer that unlocked on 10th April. Neither played the game for more than 2 hours according to TA despite there being a 5 hour achievement

Achievement now marked as Discontinued

Seems the Shelter DLC release on 29th November 2022 has broken this achievement

Makes me wonder if someone found a way to access console commands on this version as well. I hooked a keyboard up to my xbox but couldn't get anything to come up.

Another win, assuming its another hacker/cheater. did try again but still could not get it to pop and no updates from the developers

I've messaged the most recent unlock to ask for any info they may have. Not expecting to hear anything back but will update if I do

yeah voodoo, i give up with this legit trying right now, tried different modes and even going offline, only thing i can think of is using my xbox one s and see if it can pop on there but probably wont do anything

I've tried sandbox and career. Burning everything, blowing up the whole damn kitchen. Nothing. They must of screwed it up with an update or something.

I've messaged the devs on their website about this and the other broken achievements. I guess I'll see if they respond. I'm guessing the more people that contact them the better the chances of getting a fix. Especially since they are working on Cooking Simulator 2 now I think.

I've messaged them a couple of times through Twitter too and never had a response to my tweet or DM's. Been broken for ~7 months now (since November 2022)

I've tried getting their attention via their discord channel yet again today but despite a few people reporting on this achievement being broken, i've never once seen anyone acknowledge the bug report. Very infuriating being ignored by them at this point

Hopefully there is an update before it leaves gamepass, I'm quite sure it will be rotated out soon.

I doubt they’ll fix it after so long tbh. Especially with a sequel coming out.

Update: I went to play career mode, and unlocked a few achievements before trying in sandbox again. This time, it unlocked once my shrimps are burned in a pan.

Just to add that i've burnt multiple things now in both career and sandbox and no pop. Used griddle, pans, fryer, microwave, oven etc with a variety of ingredients and no pop

EDIT: i'm on version 3.0.0.23 and have tried on dummy account and cloud gaming too. No unlocks on recent players list since 29th November so unsure when game was last updated

EDIT 2: Looks like they released the Shelter DLC on 29th November so this may have broken the achievement here

It seems that JadedGamer unlocked this achievement last month. It was probably by nefarious means though, since it looks like they're not tracked.

Two recent unlocks showing up (8th & 12th January) and both look more legit than others with time stamps, not all achievements unlocked at the same time etc.

I've messaged both gamers to ask if they remember unlocking it and how so but understand that if they don't realise the significance of the achievement then it probably isn't something they remember
