How to unlock the Healing the Ocean achievement in Coral Island - Definitive Guide
You must activate all 85 nodes in the Ocean. Once you do you will complete Quest: The Coral Tree and unlock the achievement.
In order to do this, you must clear the trash littering the ocean floor using your scythe to get an orb to drop which will power each node then clear the path for the energy to reach the device and power up. Once you power up nodes more of the section map will be reachable, once you activate all nodes in a section the path to the next section will open up. The trash like stone in the caverns gets tougher (Requires more hits from your scythe) with each section.

In order to upgrade your scythe, you will need ore from the caverns smelted into bars and a few other resources plus money to upgrade it at the Blacksmith. Bronze upgrade takes 1 in game day, Silver, and Gold 2 days to complete during which time you will not have your tool. Osmium upgrade takes 4 days. I only upgraded to gold before finishing the last section and trash took 2 hits each in the last two sections.
The Ocean is broken in to four sections each section contains a certain grade of Kelp (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Osmium) used for upgrading your Fishing Rod and Bug Net as well as a multitude of crafted items.

Tips
In order to give you more real time each in game day to clear trash and activate nodes you can go into settings on the Game tab and change Game Time Speed to 50% which will slow in game time down to half giving you twice the amount of real time to play each in game day.
At the end of your diving session exit where you stopped by calling the anchor to your current position so the next day when you go diving you will enter the ocean right where you left off.
If you are in a hurry and do not wish to clear all the trash activate a node and then follow the path it is creating. The robot will show you which trash nodes are blocking the path, and you can focus your work there.
