How to unlock the A New Chapter achievement in Coral Island - Definitive Guide

In order to get married, you need to be at heart 10 with the character you want to marry and you can purchase a ring at the blacksmith for 5,000. You won't be able to propose until you have at least the level 3 house upgrade.

Once you have given the ring to your love interest, the wedding will be 3 days after that.

On the wedding day, the achievement will pop once you have ended the day by going to sleep.

Clarification: you need to do all of the "heart events" for your intended in order to unlock them saying yes to a proposal in addition to the other conditions covered by OP. You can definitely speed run all of the heart events listed in the coral island wiki, but you can only do 1 a day weather and other factors permitting of course.

Marry luke. His heart events are really easy. Find his dog taco 2 or 3 times. Then just go to his cooking supply shop everyday for a new cutscene(once you have a new heart). When going to the shop doesnt activate a cutscene make sure he has 10 hearts and the last event should be at the lake. https://coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Luke
For more info on the events click link above.
Also use green smoothies to gain his hearts.

Figured out why it didn't pop for Think.

The game has some sort of maybe memory leak? Where if you leave it in menus or pause for a long while and the controller disconnects, the achievements don't unlock correctly. As well the timers for artisan goods don't match up correctly. I had the giants one unlock when I reloaded my game but for marriage it is different as it's changing a character state from Townie to Family.

I had it not pop but I play around with settings a lot and there's an option for "Show Backup" right above credits. Flipped that on and quit to title. Went to Load and in the bottom right there's an option to Show Backups. Rewound time to the morning of the wedding and replayed the day. At the end of the day during saving it popped.

TLDR; Turn on Show Backups and have a Groundhog Day.
