Igneous the Molten Mass is an optional boss found within the Molten Quarry.
Igneous is found inside a Molten Quarry that generates exactly 1400 tiles from The Core. The quarry is considerably larger than other regular quarries.
An Igneous the Molten Mass Scanner can be used to reveal their location on the map. A loud thumping sound can be heard and the screen will begin to shake when Igneous is nearby.
Once defeated Igneous can be re-summoned by placing a Giant Slime Summoning Idol on their rune, located below their original spawn point.
