The principal didn't drop Peepers for me, he dropped Rice Creepies. Then instead of the snail dropping Rice Creepies, it dropped something else. So now I have no idea how to get Peepers.

Do you know what the snail dropped for you?

I've played the game 3 times and got the same drop from the principal.

I'm pretty sure it has to be one play through... There are a few kids you have to trade cards with. Have you done that with all of them?

Complete the game and THEN check to see which ones you're missing. It's probably a safe bet that you'll get them all. I'm not aware of this achievement glitching. Someone correct me if I'm wrong??

I agree with Z3ro, your best bet is to finish then check what you're missing. I've never heard of this glitching before.

@Cornerscout, The Happy Heads card is in New Repugia (east.) The same section in which the Pharaoh costume plan and parts are acquired. Both the complete costume and the card can be found on the initial play through of the section.

I had started this game and came back after several months having missed an extra Smoochers card to trade the girl at the Dental Compound. By entering the "Secret Warehouse" to the NW Side of the map, it dropped in the first "minion" fight.

I also didn't get Peepers after my fight with the Principal but got it after the 2nd minion fight in the Dental Compound. So if you didn't get Peepers from the Principal don't stress, the minions in the Compound respawn and so it is a good chance to get it if you are still missing it.

YveniVvidiVvici, I believe you just defeat the respawning enemies until it gives it to you. I got mine from the respawning drone (the one that walks) at the bottom-left corner of New Repugia, East Side - The Future.

I got all the achievements in the game except for this one. I got the one for completing all the quests and even the one for using all the cards in battle. Is the there a specific order that you need to get them in or is this just a very unfortunate bug I’ve found? Any help would be much appreciated.

I also found Nougat Nuggets last, though for me it was a silent unlock as I didn't get a notification confirming it unlocking. I didn't realize it did unlock until I checked the achievements list.

Deep breath. Have you played through the entire game? If you read the comments above, the cards do not all appear precisely where indicated.

You need a second rice creepies to trade for the licky pops and i have scoured the entire internet and every guide including this one fails to mention where I can get a second rice creepies. They only ever mention the snail. Like I'm just supposed to already have a rice creepies by that point or something.

If you finish the game and missed some, you can just reload your save and it will take you back to right before the final boss. From there you can access every area in the game, so even though you have to get them all in one playthrough, you can't really miss any of them if you reload.

Side note: I didn't need the guide at all except for Happy Heads. You don't get the costume needed to cross the area (Pharaoh) with the card until after that section of the game, and I forgot to go back to it. Every other card was easily found/bought through normal progression and hunting down the two side costumes. smile

I am sorry, I did not update my solution yet. I want to have my walkthrough finished first (Musquito's blog post - Costume Quest 2 WT (One edition) [IN PROGRESS])
It seems I did not have found it yet in the One edition and I do not know any more how I got it in the 360 version.

I can't seem to find the Smoochies dupe anywhere. Literally can't get two achievements because I can't find it anywhere. I can't find a vid that tells me where it is either.

EDIT: Found it in my first battle in the Secret Warehouse. I now have both achievements.

MISSABLE

There are 45 Creepy Treat Cards in total to collect throughout the game. There are various ways to get new Creepy Treat Cards which are by buying them from Shady, trading duplicates of a certain card with an NPC for a different card, by defeating monsters, and from loot coffins. The majority of them you will be buying from Shady. As you level up, new Creepy Treat Cards will become available from Shady and you must reach level 9 to unlock all of them. Some of the creepy treat cards come from random monster drops. Random monster drop means they will come from either a monster patrol, a monster fought trick or treating, or a mini-boss/boss. All other creepy treat cards are not random and come from an exact source, which is also outlined below. The 2nd of the 2 Smoochies cards is what makes this trophy missable and the Quest Love trophy. The 2nd of the 2 Smoochies cards has a 50/50 chance of dropping from the bosses listed after the card below and certain enemies, none of which respawn infinitely. This means the 2nd Smoochies card can be permanently missed purely based on luck. Once you gain access to the Top Secret Warehouse sub-area in the Dental Compound, I recommend saving the game at a fountain and backing up save file just for extra security, then defeating all of the Crestwailers in the Warehouse until they drop the card, then restart/reload game if it doesn't drop and repeat until it does. Credit to Conel33 for bringing this to my attention. It was a Double Fine employee that revealed the information. You can check the Creepy Treats tab in your journal to see how many and which ones you have as well as how many are missing. The following are the 45 Creepy Treat Cards you can get.

Easy to miss trophy!

There are a total of 45 cards in the game that can be used in battle. There is no collection guide as such. Many cards drop randomly from opponents. Receiving cards can be divided into 4 ways, and to get everything, you need to use all four;

1) buy from a merchant (green trolls in squares and hats).

2) complete side quests

3) knock out enemies

4) look for secrets in locations

All cards are fairly easy to find. At the end of the game, you will have to return to several locations to collect cards hidden in the locations. It’s easy to find out where to return and how much is left at the location. You just need to buy location maps from merchants, and below you will see how many secrets and costume parts are left at the location.

There is 1 problematic quest in the game, due to which you will have to go through the game a second time. This quest is called Trader Jho. The idea is simple, you need to knock out 1 card and exchange it with the boy. The boy himself is located in the DentalCompound location. So to avoid this, you need to do the following:

Before entering the building with the TopSecret Warehouse sign in the Dental Compound location, save at the nearest fountain. Make a back-up save. Afterwards, head to TopSecret Warehouse. There will be enemies walking there. The required card should fall out of them, which will need to be exchanged.

The problem is this: As was read on foreign forums, mobs in this location are not restored, and the probability of the card we need falling out is 50 to 50.

I managed to complete the Trader Jho quest and get the coveted card without even going into any of the buildings - I just knocked it out of a patrol robot on the street.

PS After receiving the Jefferson costume, do not forget to use diplomacy (press the O button) on the merchant (troll in a cloak) to get a 10% discount on all purchases.
