Glitched for me and resolved the same way as Cyphor1099 mentioned. Annoying to have to do that part of the game again, but at least the second run through doesn't have to include candy corn so the Krono fight goes a bit faster.

Just to clarify the clock can't be attacked until you have beat the Kronoculus dude down to about 150 health. Then he gets the clock out. Then start giving that thing a beatdown.

This is a story related trophy and cannot be missed.

After you have entered The Witches Bog, make your way East. There will be spawning clock minion mobs along the way, so feel free to fight as many as you like. There's a health fountain nearby as well.

Once you're ready to fight, head East and speak to the family. You may have to speak to several family members to trigger the cutscene. Time to fight Kronoculus.

Kronoculus is the first real small challenge in the game. He's Magic, and brings 500 HP of heft to the fight.

Kronoculus has a few moves which I'll mention shortly, but the most important thing to know is THE CLOCK. Once you've beaten up Kronoculus and start thinking this fight is way easier than it should be, a cutscene will play where The Clock will be introduced. The Clock is your number one priority. All characters need to target The Clock and damage it. If a couple turns pass, Kronoculus will use The Clock to "turn back time" and heal himself completely to 500 HP. If you destroy The Clock, Kronoculus will be stuck with ~100 HP, and you'll be able to finish him.

As far as Kronoculus' other moves go:

1. Hand Smack - Basic Attack, damages one player. This will sting a little worse than normal enemies, but hey this is a boss battle. But the damage should be manageable with a Clown.

2. Minion Summon - Kronoculus will summon a minion along with his Clock to try to trick you. Don't worry about the Minion. Kill the Clock.

3. Stun Blast - Kronoculus can stun one of your characters. More likely to be used in latter stage of the fight.

Story related, cannot be missed.

Kronoculus is the end boss of the Backwater Bayou: Past. The battle will initiate once you talk to the Witch Mom and Witch Dad barbecuing in the Witch's Bog. After getting his health down to a certain point, he will spawn a Krony minion and his Clock will become a target. Focus all your attacks on the Clock because if you focus on the boss instead or don't destroy his Clock in time he will restore his health and put the Clock away until you repeat the process of taking his health down again. The Clock will have the same amount of health you got it down to on previous attempt. Once you destroy his clock, take down Kronoculus's remaining health to win the battle.
