How to unlock the Mosh Pit achievement in Crackdown 2 - Definitive Guide
The quickest and simplest way i found of getting this achievement is during the tutorial section at the start of a new game. When you collect the grenades for the first time to use for blowing up all the freaks in the pit what i did was jumped into the pit first myself ,before even using the grenades, and kept pressing the melee "B" button and the achievement popped,EASY!!!

I found this solution works the best, because with a high strength agent you are going to kill or disentigrate (in the case of freaks) what you hit in 1 swing, and dead bodies can fly erratically while bouncing them on the ground with the sign method. With 1 or less strength you can hit scroungers multiple times before they die and its so packed in that little pit it's near impossible to miss. Just move toward a crowd of freaks between each swing and don't try to swing if you are facing and within 5 feet of a wall.
Now, to get back into the training area you need to go to "main game" then move your selection up to the campaign row and scroll left or right to an empty campaign save slot. Then go up one more time to the agent selection row and scroll over till you select a totally blank, new agent slot.
Fire it up and you'll be back in training. I suggest "tough" challenge level. Freaks won't die super fast to your punches and they won't hurt you badly enough before you manage to pop it at this difficulty setting because the ones in the pit do fight back.

Thumbs up on both the solution and the first comment. Popped in no time.

Easiest solution I think... Get a street sign, kill a cell agent and then keep hitting the dead body over and over again. The achievement will pop after the 20th successful hit on the cell agents dead body. No need hitting 20 different enemies just 1 dead body and 1 street sign is all that is needed.

It's weird we can't see any of the comments. Going to try your solution tonight and hope it works as I've tried everything else. I know I'm nailing more than 20 with melee but can't get the achiev to pop for some reason.

For this achievement you need to chain together 20 attacks without messing up. I found the easiest weapon to do this is the Helicopter Blade. When you get inserted tactically just blow up the helicopter that drops off your vehicle and grab a blade. I believe these have the longest melee range of any weapon in the game. The head into unity heights at night and start swinging the blade. I found that the location on the map was jam packed with freaks consistently.

Thanks :) i've been trying to get this for so long, I didnt even think about useing the Chopper Blades.
And the map will come in handy for when i start searching for the orbs on Crackdown 1(Becouse its a CD1 map after all)

The easiest way to do this is to grab any sign off of the city streets during the night, run for a bit to get a bunch of freaks to chase you and head into a sizable group of freaks and MOSH MOSH MOSH (melee/press "B"). Twenty consecutive hits (without misses) later, you'll be done. It'll take literally ten seconds.
For this achievement you need to successfully land 20 melee attacks in a row, now while the achievement description says they need to be hand-to-hand, to put it simply; they don't. You can pick up a road sign/street light pole or something similar and use that, it's a lot easier and will save you a little hassle!
Of course you can actually use hand-to-hand combat to get the achievement, it's best to find yourself a good group of freaks and then steadily use the melee attack (B), you have a few seconds to line yourself up so don't worry, but like I said using a road sign or something similar is much easier.

Once you reach the Strength skill to level 2. You will be able to pick up broken lamp posts and street signs to use as weapons. Find a huge group of Freaks and start hitting them with the sign. As long as they don't knock you down the chain will keep going. It is okay if they hit you as that doesn't restart the chain.
