If you are boosting with a partner and want to save even more time, once someone has the orb the other can just drop out and the achievement will still pop.

Easiest way i found for this was i grabbed a friend (dedicated of course may take a time or two) join matches and as long as its putting you in matches, avoid the players (i chose a skill based avoid so it did not effect their rep at all) leave the game repeat....after 2 or 3 games you will get your own lobby. my friend did the same during we were basically being put in the same games. then once we had our own lobby the game started and i let him win. it netted him this achievement and the other one also. players joined during the match but we had a head start running and points on the board so it worked out for us well. i also blocked the other player when i wasnt winning. (foul gameply but it's about the achievement not ensuring someone elses gameplay is enjoyable.) Also once i hosted my lobby i invited him he threw the match and i netted no achievement so its worth noting that "quick match" should be the only method of entrance for players to the game.

This is fairly easy, assuming you can win the match. It is rare to ever destroy your car unless you are on a map where driving into water is a possibility.

Tips on winning: You will rarely be able to catch someone chasing them from behind since you will be going the same speed. Try to predict where the orb-carrier is going and catch them going the opposite direction. You will most likely pass the other players at the same time and will be far away by the time the orb is stealable from you.
