This is the method I used, video from the Rooster teeth guys. Super easy achievement, as said in the video the area is the docks located on the Volk (I only remember the CD1 names) island so you can in theory do this achievement straight away.

Any item that appears on your screen with a fire symbol on it can be blown up if it is shot. This is very easy at the beginning of the game and done while the Freaks are out at night.
