How to unlock the The Ringer achievement in Crackdown 3: Campaign - Definitive Guide

Video guide:

AchievementSquad has created a video showing all 50 stunt ring locations and how to get them:
(note this is not my video and I have no affiliation to AchievementSquad, but I thank them for making this).

General tips:

* after you level up your driving a bit (which can be done by drifting, killing enemies, completing races, and jumping through stunt rings), you will gain the abilities to steal cars (hold LB when near a car) or call in an Agency Car (press Up on the D-pad to call it in).

* use the Agency Car's handy Spider mode (press Left on the D-pad after you get into the car), which can jump with a press of the X button and can climb on walls (press back on the Left stick while in the air after jumping with the car to stick onto a wall).

* once you obtain it, you can use the Boost Jumper equipment to get even more height with a car (this goes in your RB weapon slot and can be equipped at any Supply Point). Get out of your vehicle, throw it on the ground where you need it, then get back in your vehicle and drive over it to jump up in the air).

* once you get strong and agile enough, you can carry around vehicles by pressing X to pick them up and then bring them to hard to reach places, put them back down with X, and then enter them with LB to complete the stunt rings.

Okay, I went to the 15:51-mark in the video and accessed the top of the building there. There are two buildings connected to each other view skyways. You'll need to use both. Basically, spawn your agency vehicle in on a nearby road and then pick it up and carry it to the smaller building. On both buildings there are small platforms protruding out, as well as wider walkways wrapping around the building, skyways connecting them, and hallways through the buildings. From there you will need to ascend the buildings by double or triple jumping, up to a platform higher up, weaving around the buildings, through the buildings, or across to the opposite building, and so on. Eventually, you'll get to the top of the smaller building and there is an air lift there. Take that upwards and then repeat the ascension process until you're in the spot in the video. I recommend first doing it "on foot", to clear out all the enemies. There's also an agility race on the top of the higher building, so if you're doing that achievement too, you'll need to ascend this building anyway. It's a bit tougher while carrying a car since the car can get stuck on some of the platforms when you're jumping up, so just try to jump out and then up and then back over in those spots.

Those guys in the AchievementSquad made a great video for getting all of the stunt rings. With that being said, the least monotonous and most efficient way to get this achievement, in my opinion, is to focus on the hidden orb achievement first. (Obviously, I would recommend starting any of these collectible achievements only after beating the game.) If I saw any of the agility orbs or stunt rings along the way, I would stop and grab those first before continuing to the next hidden orb. After getting all 250 of the hidden orbs, I had tackled 40/50 stunt rings and 650/750 agility orbs. At this point, I then relied on the video to find whichever ring I missed in the various zones. (Like, who would naturally ride a car along the monorail? Thank goodness for video guides for those locations!) Now to grind out the rest of these agility orbs...

@Goggs25 - Have you reached max level agility yet? That extended boost is a godsend for getting to areas you wouldn't dream of getting the car up. I think I know of the 2-3 rings that are on top of buildings that you mentioned. They should have some ledges sticking out where you can single/double jump or boost to land on. Rinse and repeat to the top of those buildings.

Okay My agility is 5.84 (thought it was maxed). I am only missing 1 stunt ring and that is in the vision area.

At 5.84 agility you should be able to reach every stunt ring. Don't forget about using the Boost Jumper equipment from your RB slot (equip it at a Supply Point). That should help you get to any hard-to-reach areas. You can use it while carrying a car.

This guide is REALLY good and helped a lot. Just to add to one of the OP's TIPS. If you are having trouble getting a car on top of tall buildings use the spider agent car ability. If you just slowly feather the throttle (never go above 30 mph) you will stick to the wall forever it seems. You may have to drive sideways at times to get around lips/ledges but I found this to be MUCH easier every time vs carrying cars up the side of buildings.

easiest way to collect those, is to play with a friend.
Once his agility is at five, just get into your car, have your coop friend pick up the car and travel through the various ring...
no need to drop or launch the car, just grab it... fly through .. and go on to the next.

way less frustrating than doing it by yourself

Positive voted, just like previous Crackdown, host goes inside the car first, asks your friend grab the car, and then your friend throws the car to the ring, done & easy!

People who down voted it, perhaps they don't have friends,,,roll

There’s a total of 50 Stunt Rings you must find and drive through in New Providence. These will not show up on the map as icons, so you’ll have to look out for the Purple Wheel icon while you traverse the island. You'll also need your Driving Skill to Level 1 for the Agency Vehicle, then Level 2 for the Spider Form, your Strength Skill to Level 4+ and then your Agility Skill at Level 4+.

Many of the Stunt Rings can be easily spotted and completed as they're just to the side of roads or ground level areas. A lot though are up high and are inaccessible to you unless you have the Agency Vehicle and it's Spider Form and at least Strength/Agility to Level 4+. This is because they're off the side of buildings up high or general places where a car does not have access to.

If you cannot use your Agency Vehicles Spider Form to reach these, then you'll need a high enough Strength/Agility Level to be able to pick the car up and jump your way up to.

Alternatively, if playing with a co-op partner, enter a vehicle and have them carry you to a Stunt Ring. Jumping or throwing you through it counts as completing it for you. Return the favor if applicable.
