How to unlock the It's My Island achievement in Crackdown 3: Wrecking Zone - Definitive Guide

This is for MVP in Agent Hunter (Apex Hunter) and MVP in Territories (It's my Island) as well as Team Slayer, since the strategies I used are pretty much the same. I honestly feel that Team Slayer is best won, when paired with one of the 2 MVP achievements. Probably best with Apex Hunter during an Agent hunter match.

Team Slayer:
For Team Slayer there may have been a bit of luck because I am not sure if you unlock the achievement during or after the match. It unlocked at the end of the match for me. So it's possible it doesn't unlock until after the match or I got it on my last kill right before the match ended. But from how I understand the achievement, you need to kill everyone on the other team at least once during the match. I used the strategy below to rack up as many kills as possible during the match aiming for MVP, and Team Slater came naturally with gameplay towards them.

Apex Hunter (MVP in Agent Hunter):
After struggling to do good at all, I just annihilated and entire match in Agent Hunter. I got the achievement for killing an entire team (Team Slayer) and the MVP in one match. Then my very first match in Territories I got MVP as well.

I STRUGGLED doing good at all in this. I mean middle to last place every game. Maybe 2-5 kills if I am very lucky. Then all of a sudden I am unstoppable. How? I played it just like I play Halo. I was as aggressive as possible. As soon as I spawned I ran out looking for blood. I rushed everyone I saw. I did NOT play defensively whatsoever. But the real trick? The B button. I rushed every opponent with my machine gun ( the MK II one, I cannot remember the name. However, I think the mini gun could be better) taking there life down as much as I could as I rushed them, then when in range I hit the B button to melee them and finish them off. I did this because the melee is not a 1 hit kill. I did this as fast as I could, one right after another. If I got shot up into the air I would use the B button to smash them and sometimes I would hit them in air. The best part is you are right on top of the badge when you kill them by melee and most of the time you collect them automatically. After the kill, immediately look for more blood (as long as you're SURE you grabbed the badge after the kill). Constantly look for the red arrows and run after them aggressively. You need the badges AND the kills to maximize your score. This may seem obvious that a high number of kills + Badges = MVP... but it wouldn't have been possible for me without rushing at them, wearing them down and then finishing them off with the B button.

It's My Island (MVP in Territories):
I did the same with territories. Instead of immediately looking for blood, I immediately looked for new land. Then I looked for blood when I was inside the territory. When the game announced that there was new territory up for grabs, I made a B line for it. I did my best to make sure I was the first and last one there. When contested, I used the strategy above to take the enemies out. Once land was taken, I was immediately looking for new land. I didn't stop. I didn't blink. There was adrenaline lol. Do not waste time between new land. I finished the match with 2X the score of the 2nd place dude and this was my first game of territories.

Good luck. Hopefully you can get Team Slayer on the way to the MVP's if you need that as well.

Too bad it doesn’t work for the fact of the matter is you have multiple people shooting at you and you will always be on the losing team regardless

I think it goes without saying luck and skill are needed here as well. Sounds like you need both. My 100% GS in wrecking crew shows this works.

Wrecking Zone sounds absolutely awful. Can these be boosted with another player? Otherwise I'm not touching this

This can only be obtained in Territories. To get MVP, you must be the player with the most points on the winning team when the match ends. Points are earned by a combination of kills and territories captured.

If using the suggested boosting strategy in The Landlord (40G), everyone on the same team should be earning the same amount of points. To get MVP, have the person selected to be the MVP kill a couple of enemies so their points are higher than the rest. Then just make sure that the MVP's team wins.
