How to unlock the Free Runner achievement in Crackdown - Definitive Guide

So if you're after a map/screenshot solution rather than a video, there isn't much out there. Most of the sites that hosted them don't exist any more or have broken links. Even the Official prima guide is gone, after a couple of hours of searching I managed to find the following link and thought I'd share it with you guys. After all sharing is caring.

As a warning, some of the images are repeated in multiple places and a couple of the map location imgs are incorrect. So my advice is to go through and complete the game, take out each of the gangs and try to get as many orbs on your own as possible.
That way you are only using this incomplete guide to hunt down the last remaining stragglers.

So far the repeated ones I've spotted are

Volk 63 & 77 114 & 99 174 & 96

Shai-gen 42 & 22

I'm still working thru the list saving the bigger first area for last.

Also, the #42 (Los Muertos) is incorrect. The left image is wrong, but the other is right, so you can easily find the orb with her.

Oh and, I don't know if that could help, but I've found this map:

Are you sure that the gamespy guide has ALL the orbs? Because by counting each one seems it misses 2 orbs (i can barely count 498 total orbs)... Did you get the achievement just by using this guide?

I just started collecting these in Los Muertos territory. The first duplicate was #42 I think, the left side image is correct but the right side is incorrect. I then opened the images in new tab. They were named/numbered 083.jpg and 044.jpg. I then changed the latter to 084.jpg and whaddaya know, I now had the right image.

I don't know if this will work for all duplicates, but it just might.

The guide is helpful, but I can confirm that two pictures have nothing to do with Agility and eight orbs are not shown by the end.

took me 2 goes through this list to get these orbs.

best to follow the pictures and every now and then stop and just look around as it should mean you will get any that you have missed.

But also i spent so much time working in an area then suddenly the next one is across the zone and having to travel across the map to get it

Game Spy Guide is missing 8. I'm unsure as to their location. By the end of the guide, I was at 596. Absolute trash how bad it is. Guy will pick up and orb then go to a different area and not return for over a hundred orbs. The Volk Area was extremely difficult to follow.

The last 4 for me were 361, 374, 403,404 in the Skull Candie Map. So these may be some of the numbers not covered. Achievement itself it take around 10 hours for your first scan of the island and another 2 hours to cleanup what you missed.

In addition to the above guides, which work great for finding all the orbs, I found this video to help those of you like me who are having the worst trouble getting on top of Melissa Fang-Yin's glass dome in the Shai Gen area. I was struggling with this for hours, and after I watched this person's strategy, I was able to scale the globe within minutes.

This solution is ONLY for those who are having trouble getting the one agility orb atop Fang-Yin's dome. The above excellent guides will get you the rest!

What happened to the other guide? There use to be one with videos and I was using that. What a shame it's gone now because I was halfway through the collectibles using that.

I'm sorry! I didn't post the original solution, so I'm not sure what happened to it. Best of luck! It seems that a lot of the video creators are removing their content.

Dude, years ago I played this game and had no idea there where maps to the orbs. I had found all but 1, this one. I thought I would never figure out which one I was missing until I saw your post and did not recognize that orb location. Sure enough, I climbed the ball and there was my last orb!!!! If I could give you a million thumbs up I would. THANK YOU!!

In case this still might help people: Play with headphones.
Both collectable orbs have a distinctive pulsing sound. Whichever ear will make this pulsing sound is the direction you should look in. Was my last collectable too.
Amazing game still. Looks insanely upgraded on Xbox One X. Did about 10 years or so to get this cheevo.
I gave up quickly but in the years I got better at getting achievements and winning them.

Here is a map I found for the agility orbs. I didn't find any screenshots to go with it but I managed to find them all by going to the locations marked and jumping onto the highest points.

I Recommend just saving the map if you are desktop and opening it on your PC. Its a very high quality map if you can zoom in.

My god this is !$&*! I’m thinking I’d be best starting from scratch; but I can’t delete sync info for some reason?! Any suggestions anyone..? 499/500 ugh 😩

Agility orbs are basically like the hidden orbs except they increase your agility and are only found off the ground, usually on rooftops, ledges and signs on the sides of buildings. Again, the easiest way to find all 500 agility orbs is to use the same technique described for the "Orb Hunter" achievement above and mark them off as you go using the map below.
