How to unlock the The Trifecta achievement in Crackdown - Definitive Guide

For this achievement, you need to defeat all 21 gang bosses, which includes the three gang generals. You should weaken the generals first by defeating the gang bosses under that general - you will find that defeating the general should be much less frustratingly difficult.

Don't you also have to kill the Mob group (Final crime)?

Yes, yes you do. After that battle, it'll trigger the achievement.

After you kill all 7 bosses of any gang, the final members of the gang will form a mob, which is marked by a star on your map. Once you clear out the mob, the gang is eliminated, and you will get the corresponding achievement for it. Once all three are gone, you will get "The Trifecta".
