How to unlock the Timed Stunt Driver achievement in Crackdown - Definitive Guide
There are alternate methods noted in other solutions which require you to have the DLC Agency Buggy or a friend with the game to throw you in the air. This only requires 4 star driving skill (which you should get anyway for the awesome cars) and is much more satisfying to complete.
The text guide below is the same as this video guide, so if you prefer you can read that.
You will need to use the 4 star SUV and head down tunnel 2 toward The Den(Volk). Continue through the tunnel and try to aim for 130 - 140 Mph (210 – 225 Kph) at the last corner. Once round, accelerate hard. You want to be at 150 (250 Kph) at the end of the ramp.
One thing to note here is that using too much speed will make rounding the last corner difficult, making you lose speed on the up ramp. Try letting off the accelerator briefly at the turn. Also, you will find that going too fast will make you hit the exit arch and bounce straight toward the floor, so just take it steady and keep it smooth.
Use your hydraulics for extra height and push forward to put yourself in a front-flip. Make sure you get 2 flips. The game will not display it but it also counts a long jump as one of your 6 stunts, so assuming you went far enough you will have 3 out of 6 and will only need to repeat this jump once more.
Go back halfway down the tunnel and do it again. Hopefully you should have your achievement. This is how I got it anyway.

Submitting this solution because I think it's the easiest I've seen out of all the one submitted here. It is inspired by M0nsterXEnergyy's solution for the "Hazardous Hangtime" achievement: Solution for Hazardous Hangtime In Crackdown
You don't even need any DLC nor to even drive at all. All you need 4 star driving (for SUV jump) and the agency garage. Simply jump in place with the SUV, land on your back, and correct yourself in the same direction as the jump to do a barrel roll. Repeat 6 times.
Detailed Explanation: Get the agency SUV and don't leave the spawn area. The spawn area is an elevator so it counts as being "in the air" when the car is flipped. Pick a direction you want to do a barrel roll in (left or right). Hold B and release to make the car jump and then press the direction stick in the air to make the car flip and make sure you land exactly upside down. Wait a few seconds upside down and then press the direction you want to continue the barrel roll in on the direction pad and while doing so press A to right the car. If you did it right, you'll get a notice that you did a barrel roll as well as some driving skill points. Repeat 6 times. I found this out to be the easiest and most controlled method for doing stunts for this achievement. You should be able to mess up a jump or two and still make it, though once you get the technique down you'll be able to do 6 jumps in a row with no problem.
You can also easily knock out the "Hazardous Hangtime" achievement while doing this obviously, just make sure you wait 6 seconds while upside down:

Thank you! This one was really starting to tick me off. It's a little tricky to get the feel for it but after that it's pretty easy. Also you can touch the roof so staying in the middle was important.

I did this with the SUV at the beach there are a number of ramps (connected to the buildings on the beach) just do backflips on each one, when you get to the end of the beach turn around and do them the other way.

This is how I did it also. Easy.

Thanks for the tip. I just needed to slow it down a bit and not drive so fast on my approach to the ramp (holding B just before the ramp) and depending on how accurate I was, I either did a forward/back flip or a barrel roll.

I'm submitting this solution because I believe it's easier than all the others. Go to Alvarez's gang hideout, towards the southern portion of the small beach. Where the stunt marker is, you can do backflips easily and continuously. Remember to hold down and release B before you backflip, or it won't count as a flip. This requires a four star driving level, and the Agency SUV.
i jst got this using a method from another website (that sux so i dont use them anymore)
get the agency buggy. go out tunnel 1. tall flat wall to the left when you come out.. go up to wall stop.. touch the wall and give gas. drive UP wall then pull back to make buggy do a backflip. almost looks like your doing 2 flips. land repeat.
after you come off wall let go of gas a concentrate on landing flat.

There are two good methods to pulling this off. One involves co-op, the other can be done alone.
For co-op, HybridPK's method is only decent at best, and it's only worth trying if you don't have any DLC. For my method, you'll need the "Gettin' Busy" DLC pack, the Agency Buggy from that pack, at least 1-Star driving skill, and a friend with 4-Star Agility and at least 2-Star strength.
What you're going to want to do is go to a large, wide-open area where you won't be seeing many civilians. The empty parking lot next to the shipyard in the Volk territory (way to the south end of their islands) is most ideal. Head down there with the Agency Buggy, if you have the DLC. Get lined up all the way at either the north or south end of the parking lot. Have your friend pick you up, then jump and throw you WITH THE *B* BUTTON at the height of their jump. Meanwhile, YOU will be pressing the *A* button and FORWARD on the analog stick the entire time. When they toss you with the B button, you'll immediately go into a front flip, and you WILL land it if they threw you from the top of their jump. Do this six times, and you WILL get the achievement.
Additionally, this is a very easy and very quick way to level up your driving skill.
If you don't have the DLC pack, try the method of riding in a small Microcar or something like that, and having your friend use the right trigger to throw you. They have to aim just right, though, because you CAN'T control your spin when they throw you with the Right Trigger, so it'll be really hard to actually land it. If you don't have DLC, really, I recommend using the single-player method.
SINGLE-PLAYER METHOD: Take the Agency SUV or the Agency Buggy and go to the Beach on La Mugre. Start rockin' it out on those ramps built onto the side of the beachhouses. If you can time it right and steer just right, you'll be able to knock out six tricks in sixty seconds. I've found the easiest way is to aim just SLIGHTLY off the edge of the ramp. This will throw your car into a sideways spin, which is marvelously easy to turn into a double barrel roll.
Additionally, if you have a friend on co-op that maybe doesn't have the stats to help you with the normal co-op method, you can maybe enlist them in bringing you replacement vehicles. This way, you'll have less downtime if you're having trouble pulling this off.

There is a way to get this achievement with the buggy in solo. Go to the beach and drive up the ramp. You get just enough height to preform one trick. Do this 5 more times for the achievement.
Going out of the tunnel from the Agency Tower to Los Muertos, you can see a large ferris wheel in the distance. Behind this wheel is a beach, with several small buildings. These buildings have ramps on either side, so take an Agency Buggy or SUV down there. Push forwards and to the right, or any diagonal, to get both Barrel Rolls and Flips at once. Make sure you land evenly. Do this 3 times in a minute and the achievement is yours.
