How to unlock the C1 | Pinstripe Patooey achievement in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - Definitive Guide
Pinstripe Potoroo is actually the second easiest boss fight in the game. When you start you'll be crouched down behind a chair and this is where you'll hide for the entire fight. During the first 3 health sections, you need to attack Pinstripe as he switches sides. Afterwards Pinstripe runs around shooting, wait until his Gun Jams then run up, spin him, then run back and repeat this process until Pinstripe is dead.
Walkthrough for defeating pinstripe potoroo. This is actually very easy. You can stay behind the chair the entire time and just wait for him to stop shooting.
Story-related; cannot be missed.
Pinstripe Potoroo is the fourth boss of the game, and could initially feel tougher until you realize the simple pattern. In the first phase (which lasts for three hits), stay behind a chair while he shoots, then while he's moving from one side to the other, pop out and spin attack him, then get behind the other chair. Repeat this for three hits. For the second phase, he'll quickly jump from one spot to another and shoot. After two spots, he'll stop to reload, which is your cue to pop out and spin him. The fourth and fifth hits can be done after two spots of shooting, but after the fifth hit he'll jump up top, shoot once, then reload, allowing you to quickly run up and finish him off.
Note that you need to be pretty much right up against the chairs for your character to automatically duck down to avoid the gunfire. If you're not against the chair your character will just stand like normal and get shot.
