This achievement can be earned during the level 'Cortex Power Or The Lab' on Island 3. While running through the level you'll come across machines that shoot out lighting from one to the other. Simply walk into it and get killed by the electricity and you'll unlock this achievement.
Note: You don’t have to die as CRASH but can die as coco if you play as her.

Just want to mention that the achievement can be earned as early as the level called 'Cortex Power'. Right from the beginning walk into one of the machines from the beginning and get hit.

I'd also like to note you don't need to die OR be playing Crash. I was playing as Coco and had an Aku Aku mask and got the achievement.

This can be obtained on the level 'Cortex Power' on the 3rd Island. I believe it's the earliest level you can unlock the achievement.
As the level starts, jump over the first 2 robots, or spin and kill them.
Straight after that you will come to 2 electric fences that shoot electric ray's from one side to the other, time your jump over the gate so that the electricity hits you and shocks you.

Die to electricity. The Lab's electrical traps and assistant enemies both can earn you this achievement easily.

This achievement actually neither requires dying nor requires you to play as Crash. All it actually requires is for you to get electrocuted. This is first possible in the stage 'Cortex Power,' which is the second stage of the third island. This stage has many pylons that shoot electricity back and forth. Get hit by it and this achievement will unlock, even if you don't die from it or if you're playing as Coco.
