After the split path (one side there will be a platform if you get there deathless) there will be a plant on a small circular island, you need to ground pound kill this enemy and you will be teleported away, very easy to do if you can keep a mask up until that point, alternatively have enough livss so that if you die a few times you spawn with a mask.
If you like multitasking it is possie to get both gems, the crystal, and the secret exit all in one go.
Easiest way is to get to the death route without dying, use the platform, take the platform back and go part way down the right side of the split breaking all the boxes up to the first electric gate, now turn back and go through the death route, the nitros look more daunting than they are, there's a comfortable route jumping over the left 3, plenty of room to land safely.
Once you have finished the death route go backwards down the right path untik you get back to the checkpoint (near electric gates) you will garb the crystal on the way, now go all of the way to the end of the level while grabbing the rest of the boxes (don't forget to go into the exit area to grab the gem!) Now turn back and find that darn plant and kill it.
Thankfully once you grab any gen or crystal it is saved even if you die so if you fail the plant kill first try you don't need to worry about the boxes respawning.

Shortly after the Death Route joins the normal route, you will find a Spitter Plant sitting on an island with another Spitter behind on the mainland. Jump onto the cowering Plant on the island and kill it with a body slam. Afterwards you will be teleported to the Warp Room

Toward the end of this level - after the split where the death route is on the left and the normal one on the right, and then later when the two routes converge back together, you'll get a checkpoint shortly after this - you'll come to an area where the path leads around to the right, with a big gap on the left and a plant on a platform by itself shooting at you. Jump over to the plant on the platform on the left, then belly flop (
while in the air) on it to destroy it. Once you're standing on the platform, you'll exit the level and unlock this achievement.
