I also found this videos very helpful to get the remaining levels done which I had problems with (High Time was the worst for me, but also Flaming Passion, Rings of Power and Deep Trouble).
Thanks for posting this!

I think I`ve experienced bug with this one. Game stats shows that I have 4 platinums, 24 gold and 1 saphire. But when I counted every single level it turns out that I have 4 platinums, 26 gold and 0 saphire.

Anybody else had this?

Got the gold on every level but high time. Screw that level!

But thanks your videos helped on certain levels.

Your time for the gold relic in Future Tense is wrong.
The correct time is: 1:15:43

I have got 29 Gold and 1 Platinum relic. No gem has appeared in the middle of the warp room so it is showing as 46/47 gems but I have 30/31 relics (at gold or better as stated above). Any ideas? Helpp? :(

Maybe you didn't get gold on one of two secret levels: Hot Coco or Eggipus Rex.

Honestly none of the gold speedruns in this one specifically were tough except maybe the Arabian ones, but I did them in a few tries.

And to reply to Chaos’ comment, even though I did most of the golds in one try, these videos for all 3 games helped a ton for the ones I was stuck on like Road Crash. If you learn how to make platinum-level maneuvers, you’ll get gold easily.

Thanks, Jek.

It depends on the type of level in which you don't feel comfortable.
If You don't like the levels -
with the Motorcycle: #08 Hog Ride or #27 Area 51?
by plane: #28 Rings of Power
Future: #31 Future Tense
Being chased by Tricerapto: #11 Dino Might!
Underwater: #12 Deep Trouble
Coco races on Pura the Tiger: #03 Orient Express

There are actually 31 available gold relics in the game, and you only need 30 for this achievement (and don't need all 31 for any other achievements). You can therefore feel free to skip one that's being particularly problematic (such as one of the motorcycle levels, jetski levels, or whatever else might be frustrating you).

Like with Crash 2, wait until you beat the game before attempt gold relics (or at least the non-vehicle levels). That's because defeating Cortex once again gives you the Running Shoes, allowing you to hold rt.png to run faster. This trivializes the times on many standard levels. Here are some other general tips:

  • On regular on-foot levels, hold rt.png all the time and use slide jump to clear gaps or jump high enough. Avoid using double jump as much as possible, because double jump actually kills your forward momentum (whereas slide jumping doesn't)
  • For underwater levels, you need to do two things: skip the ship you can grab unless it's necessary to progress, and just mash button-x.png the entire time to constantly spin and go faster. You'll need to get used to weaving and dodging while spin boosting, but it's necessary for the gold relics
  • For the tiger riding levels, hold button-b.png from start to finish, and as long as you hit at least half of the yellow boxes, gold should be no problem
  • For plane levels, hold rt.png the entire time to keep shooting, and mash button-a.png the entire time to keep spinning (this significantly cuts down on enemies shooting you). Beeline from enemy to enemy and these will be the easiest ones. The only exception is the final (secret) plane level, Rings of Power, which has you racing from ring to ring. The game doesn't tell you this, but literally the only way to get gold is to know of a hidden mechanic: pressing button-a.png to spin right before you enter a ring gives you a significantly faster boost from the ring. You'll know you did it right if there are purple trails from your wings while boosting. The timing will take a bit of getting used to, but just make sure you're pressing button-a.png before you enter the ring
  • For motorcycle levels, these are the hardest, in my opinion. You will need to destroy pretty much every single yellow box in these levels to stand a chance, and it's still going to be very tight. You need to make very good use of the boost pads. I actually had no idea you could steer while boosting, but you can. You just really need to hold the direction you want to go, and you'll eventually start to move. The second motorcycle level, Road Crash, was the hardest relic in the entire game for me
Even with those tips, like previous games, expect to need to practice each level a bunch of times before you're successful. In my opinion, the trials in this game were easier than the previous two games, and I ended up doing a bunch first try. That may be because I had just done the previous two games and had gotten better, but hopefully you're in the same position, with the recent experience of the first two games under your belt, and these don't pose as many problems as the previous two games.

The following video, courtesy of PS5Trophies, shows at least a gold being obtained on all 30 regular levels. Future Tense isn't included, but you could get a gold on it and then omit one from the regular levels if you want.
