To unlock creature costumes you have to meet a certain criteria like defeating X number of enemies or jacking a certain monster X amount of times. When you have filled in the certain criteria you will unlock the costume. The first one that can easily be obtained is the Ratician Skin which is unlocked by defeating 200 Raticians.
