How to unlock the I know the way! achievement in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled - Definitive Guide

In this video guide I will show you all 8 shortcuts. You will be getting the achievements related to each level as well as the I Know the Way achievement. Some levels have only one shortcut while others have a couple to grab so be aware of that.

Crash Cove - 00:04 - 01:05
Sewer Speedway - 01:07 - 01:55
Tiger Temple - 01:56 - 02:52
Papu's Pyramid - 02:53 - 04:07
Blizzard Bluff - 04:09 - 05:24
Dragon Mines - 05:25 - 06:19
Polar Pass - 06:22 - 07:33
Cortex Castle - 07:35 - 09:09

Edit: Please note this achievement is buggy. If it does not unlock for you, try creating a new adventure mode file and doing all the shortcuts in this file. Or, try doing them all in one sitting in arcade races.

8 Tracks are required.

I recommend using a speed oriented character, such as Tiny. It's not mandatory but could help a little.

Crash Cove:


Sewer Speedway:


Tiger Temple:


Polar Pass:


Papu Pyramid:


Dragon Mines:


Blizzard Bluff:

There are 4 shortcuts required for the achievement. First is right at the start to the left. Second is after the boulder, there's a large gap to the left of the icy area. The third and fourth are right after. They are next to each other and they are essentially barriers you have to jump over.

I got all of the achievements but I didnt get this one anyone have any ideas?

It will unlock eventually, maybe hard reset your console

Didn't unlock for me either I tried redoing every short cut I tried restarting my system nothing worked

seems to be another buggy achievement. I have a couple I've met requirements for and they still won't pop.

So this achievement finally popped for me the other day. I was simply doing the shortcut challenge on Papus Pyramid for the Grand Prix. It unlocked after I did all 3 shortcuts on the track. Maybe this could help some folks! Happy Hunting!!

If this doesn't unlock initially then just replay the shortcut levels and do the shortcuts. I replayed crash cove and did the shortcut and it popped for me on the initial save file, a few days after I got the achievement for finding the shortcut on crash cove. Its just a little bit buggy.
