Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled

In this video guide I will show you how to win against Nitros Oxide in adventure mode. If you are on easy this race will only be slightly annoying. Since he gets an early start in the race you will be behind him for a bit. Your best chance to pass him early is to grab a weapon crate and hope you get the missiles. If you hit him with your first shot save the rest in case he passes you again. The key is to pass him early and stay in first. If you are on your second or third lap and he has some distance on you just restart the race.

The only other thing that might trip you up is the track since it has a lot of turns. If it is try a character with a lot turn ability. Then learn the track and where the turbo pads are to keep ahead. If you can link your boosts with the turbo pads without hitting the walls you are sure to win. Once you beat him the achievement will pop.

The first battle against Oxide unlocks after you win all 16 races in Adventure Mode. If you are playing on Easy difficulty he is very easy to beat, as are all the other bosses.
