Welcome to battle mode this is a fun mode to play with people that are new to racing, this will also help you learn how to use the weapons more effectively.
There are five battle modes win in split screen:

Limit battle- changes type to lives, then get 3 kills

Capture the flag - collect 3 flags or collect one and wait for the timer to run out

Crystal grab - collect the 20 crystals or collect one and wait for the timer to run out

Last cart driving - get 3 kills

Steal the bacon - collect 3 flags or collect one and wait for the timer to run out

In this video guide I will show you how to win a match in every type of battle mode. Now you have to select local arcade to select battle mode. Any map will do. Now you can either do this with an AI or a second controller. If you use a second controller this will be a lot faster. Now set the minimum amount of scoring options and time. There are 5 different game modes to do. Once you win on the last one the achievement will pop.

Game Modes:

Limit Battle - Get 3 kills
Capture the Flag - Score 3 Flags
Crystal Challenge - Collect 20 Crystals
Last Kart Driving - Get 3 Kills
Steal the Bacon - Collect 3 Flags (will be a singular flag in the middle)

If the achievement doesn't pop after following either of the above solutions, try this!

Me and xBBLx ZeroWar tried getting this one on private matches, we did all modes as suggested above but it didn't pop. All we did to unblock this was playing and winning one battle match online:

Online > Matchmaking > before selecting Go to Lobby make sure you change Racing Type to Battle

You need a minimum of two players to start the match (rest of spots will be filled by bots). Once you finish it on the winning team, the achievement should pop.
