How to unlock the Nice and shiny achievement in Creatures of Ava - Definitive Guide
There are 32 trinkets total that you must unlock in one playthrough. You unlock a trinket for each creature that you reach 100% with in the Avapedia so you want to make sure you complete all creatures before finishing one of the sections of the map as you cannot go back once you leave. The Trinkets section lists all available trinkets and even tells you how to unlock them.
1. Aleph Prime Badge
2. Naam shepherd flute: Rescue 45 creatures
3. Rescue robot: Rescue 75 creatures
4. Galileo 57 escape pod: Rescue 115 creatures
5. Vege...tables?: Gather 200 plants
This will come easily in time even without focusing on it. However, if you wish to get it out of the way, its easiest to wait until you get the Resourceful skill which gives a chance to harvest 2x the plants.
6. Naam mortar: Craft 75 consumables
This will get easier once you get the Crafting Expert skill which lets you craft 3 potions at once. Not much point in rushing it early game. The Swamp region of the map has a certain plant called the Laglaa which has 3-4 green plants you can pick up off of each one. Combined with the Resourceful skill this means you'll get tons of green plants easily which makes the first Healing Brew the easiest to craft multiple times.
7. Shum juice: Complete "Ava's nostril" quest
This quest is done in the Maruba Swamp. The location is found between the Swamp teleport secondary station and the Antaris swamp tower to the north. The quest givers will only appear after you've reached the Antaris swamp tower and met Ucup while following the main story.
8. Waterfall: Complete "The same river, twice" quest
This quest is given to you by Boh'ti in the Jungle region. You'll first have to find their flute and then follow the main quest for a bit before you'll see their "?" on the map indicating they have a quest for you. You simply have to head to the Giggling Waterfall and take a picture of it and then return to Boh'ti.
9. A pure heart: Complete "Expressions of love" quest
This is a multi-part quest that you start in the grasslands and then continue one part for each region you reach. The last part of the quest is in the end game while you are in the Dunes but before you enter the Mausoleum. The quest will require you to talk to and take pictures of Obon at different locations. Very straightforward.
10. Watering can: Complete "Green thumb" quest
This is a multi-part quest that you start in the grasslands and then continue one part for each region you reach. The last part of the quest is in the end game while you are in the Dunes but before you enter the Mausoleum. You need to grab at least one of each type of plant in each region and bring them to Ish'ar. You must have one of each plant from the region in your inventory at the time you try to turn in the quest. Make sure you finish each part of the quest before moving on as the only way you can get a region's plant after finishing it is if you happen to also be doing the Underground Hall easter egg at the same time.
11. The carver: Complete "A sculptor's mastery" quest
This is a multi-part quest that you start in the grasslands and then continue one part for each region you reach. The last part of the quest is in the end game while you are in the Dunes but before you enter the Mausoleum. Fen'ti will want to see pictures of a Kraj from the grasslands, a Zard from the jungle, a Shum from the swamp and an Ashur from the dunes. This is hard to miss if you are going for the other achievements but it is missable.
12: Kraj: Complete the avapedia card
Note: The Ohol and the Kraj have basically the same co-op ability which means you need to count how many you have with each and swap between them to make sure you can get the 100% on the card. These are the only 2 that do the same thing in a single region and so it is very easy to lock yourself out of the 100% by playing the game naturally.

14. Ura: Complete the avapedia card
15. Huhu: Complete the avapedia card
16. Tama: Complete the avapedia card
17. Tehra-ba: Complete the avapedia card
You can take a healthy photo of the Tehra-ba when you first enter the Jungle region. When you first enter you will walk through an open area outside towards some ruins to enter. The creature will walk across a large rock jutting out over the ruins.
You pet the Tehra-ba after the final boss battle in the Mausoleum so don't worry if the avapedia card shows 66% for the majority of the game.
18. Zard: Complete the avapedia card
19. Shapur: Complete the avapedia card
20. Hismit: Complete the avapedia card
21. Batar: Complete the avapedia card
22. Yekembo: Complete the avapedia card
23. Raga: Complete the avapedia card
24: Shu: Complete the avapedia card
25. Gahul: Complete the avapedia card
26. Kysho: Complete the avapedia card
27. Musi: Complete the avapedia card
This is the only creature I couldn't 100% on my first playthrough as I couldn't rescue enough of them. In the northwest of the swamp near the Blue food woods is a rescue bot with 3 Musi nearby. Make sure you uncover the rescue bot before you cure the Musi or it can glitch out and not appear at all. You'll have to cure a withering plant and you should be able to see the green ring of the rescue bot up a small cliff and behind a fungal wall you can break with the nearby Musi.
28. Mahra'sik: Complete the avapedia card
The Mahra'sik is found during the main story of the swamp. You pet it in a cutscene but remember to grab a photo of it.
29. Gelgo: Complete the avapedia card
30. Ashur: Complete the avapedia card
31. Karbat: Complete the avapedia card
32: Ran: Complete the avapedia card

A helpful glitch for people running into Ohol/Kraj ability troubles: if you reuse the creature's ability on the object again (after you teleport away or reload the area) it may count again.
For example, if you return to an knocked down bridge/plank and use the creature's ability to attack where you would have done so before the bridge was lowered, the animation of the bridge falling should replay and it'll count as using the ability again.
Additionally, I got the Tehra'ba trinket early by taking a corrupted photo during the Jungle boss fight. It's not listed as an objective, but it counted for the trinket (the main Avapedia screen showed 100%, but the individual Tehra'ba page showed as 66% until I pet it near the end)
