How to unlock the Ashes to Ashes achievement in Cricket 19 - Definitive Guide

The quickest way to get this achievement is with two controllers. You can control both teams and get the second controller to declare their innings after one ball. Ensure you are always bowling first as the game will draw the match if all four innings are declared regardless of score.

I originally did this legit and did not get the achievement, I believe this is because despite the women’s Ashes series being decided on points you need to ensure you win each of the mini-series within the overall series. So win the ODIs, the test match and the T20s. When using two controllers I won every individual match to be on the safe side.

Hope this helps someone save time!

I have also just tried using the same method as on Testing Contest. Simulated some games but made sure to get the individual trophies for odi test and t20, still didn’t unlock

Did you use the same Nation for both Men and Women?

Yes England for each, tried going through men’s ashes again as well as women’s again today. Still no luck

Went through the women’s ashes again using 2 controller method today and it’s finally unlocked. Very strange as did nothing different but at least it’s sorted now

Unlocked this son of a bitch last night finally. I started off doing the Women's Ashes first , using the two controller method, then straight away did the Men's Ashes, doing the same thing. Didn't quit the game, leave the session, even leave the menu... just finished both one after the other. Not sure if playing as the same country matters or not, but I was England both times.

Simmed through both series, no pop. On my second attempt I did it manually, including all the Women's shorter games. Then it unlocked.

Don't sim.

I honestly don’t know what to tell you that I’ve not gone through in the solution. Play the men’s ashes series using two controllers. Win with either England or Australia, As outlined above. Then play the women’s ashes series and win with the same country using the two controller method again. With the women’s series, it’s broken up into ODI, test match and T20 and you need to make sure you win each “mini series”.

If any of this is still not clear then I’m at a loss. I’m not explaining the rules of cricket...

I have the achievement for winning men’s ashes without simulating. Have won the women’s ashes by winning every game properly without simulating, have also won them using the 2 controller method as described above. The achievement is still not unlocking. Anybody else have this problem?

Won the Women's Ashes using the two controller method, won every match, and no achievement. Definitely buggy.

I was using second controller and went on bowling them out for 0. Declaration with second controller is much easier. Upvote from me. Odd though in real cricket declaration is available only for test matches

I can pretty much confirm that both series need to be completed in the same play session. I completed the Men's Ashes series on one day, turned the game off and then completed the Women's Ashes series the next day, and got no achievement. I played the Men's Ashes series again right after doing the Women's series (without exiting the game in the middle) and the achievement unlocked.

Struggling with this one. For those that have unlocked it, did you simulate any games at all?

I played the men's and women's series in two different play sessions using two controllers and it unlocked. Guess it's buggy for some.
