Other solution is wrong. Ashes isn't listed under 'Competitions'
Instead:
1. Go to Home tab
2. Select 'Ashes Series'
3. Choose any team
4. Choose the first game in the series
5. After the coin toss pause and select 'Simulate'
6. Simulate until the end of the game
7. Go back to menu and the achievement should pop
