How to unlock the Rampage achievement in Crimson Alliance - Definitive Guide

This one seems tricky. Actually, it was impossible for my fiancé and me as we'd make it through levels without getting hit but still be just shy (one more kill... I swear). I just did it easily today though. After trial and error, we figured out the trick.

This does not work with a lesser geared Mage.. You need stronger, faster fireballs. Also, couldn't get it to work as well on the assassin since the ability to teleport under mobs isn't there for easier gathering. For the assassin, see FlipTriq's great guide. It probably wouldn't work well on mercenary either.

The secret is killing enemies in a rhythm. About 2 per second worked well for me. I used the first level (Fall of Byzan). I played the mage and have played through about 3/4 of the game so I have better gear. I played on normal difficulty. I only used fireball and block.

Also, it is easier solo because killing too fast or slow between mob deaths makes a huge difference on score. The more enemies you string together in rhythm, the faster the gauge goes up.

More specifics:
*Gather mobs together, close together so you can hit them one shot one kill per mob with no stray shots. Do not save any humans, you need to lure the mobs into a group, away from breakables, so you can rhythmically kill them.

*Speed in killing is important, rushing through the rest doesn't matter. Strings of mobs are the only thing that counts so if you need to go slower to calm your nerves or gather loot, by all means, do so.

*After the first two mobs you should have 2x. If not, restart.

*After next three mobs you should be at 3x. If not, restart.

*I used no bomb barrels until after the third checkpoint.

*The most important area is the one after the first checkpoint. Gather all the mobs in the four rooms before the locked door. Once they are all together, pick them off. I hit 7x after this fight and the rest was cake. I took it slower after this just doing a room at a time.

I hit 8x in the fight just before the fifth checkpoint (just after the two bridges) so it should be easy to repeat on this level.

Good luck!

Your solution really helped me, thanks. I just snagged this achievement today. What I found was you get higher multipliers from making more kills in a shorter time - sort of like the rhythm thing you suggest, but more like if you can destroy whole groups in 1-2 seconds, you get massive multiplier bonuses.

To this end I used the (assassin) knife from the DLC which pops fireballs when you kill with your light attack - using this I was able to reach 6x multiplier literally in the first room. Group up as many enemies as you can with stun and then mow them down with light attacks - getting 8x using this method is a cakewalk.

I will follow this solution then =) I've tried so many freaking times to get it...

It took me a few tries, but I got it. Have an upvote, on me.

The parts about pooling up the enemies after the first checkpoint and getting enemies bunched up in general are the two most important things.

I found it to be easiest in the second level with the assassin. Unfortunately you have to play through the entire level without getting hit a single time, but after some practice I was able to do it.

Below is my video guide for the achievement.

Good video thanks. Just wondering what weapons and daggers you had?

My weapon is the rotting arm, dagger is the fetid arm (names might be backwards but each are found from one of the last two challenge maps), and I have the life stealer armor (from the final armor vendor). I need to get the unicorn armor on my assassin so I can see the stats but life stealer was the only way I could get my slice to 20.

I got it on my first run after clearing the game, opting for no slice, but 28 throw. Too easy. Kodachi blade, Armblade dagger, Shinobi armor. Used ranged and a few axes to get to the last area, then put two turrets on the bottom of stairs where you enter, achv popped when last wave started.

Didnt work. Only got to 7. I killed everything without getting hit but no achievement. I even cleared the sidepaths from enemies which you dont have to do to finish the level...

All the recommended strategies aren't easy and quick (no offense to any of the authors). Here is a quick and easy method that should take you really no more than 5 minutes. I would've gotten on my first try, but I accidentally stayed near the green gas pot for too long (second gather of mobs) and an archer shot it.

By far the quickest/easiest method. Didn't even do as well as the video but still pulled an 8x by the end of the level.

Level: Asturi

Difficulty: Normal
Class: Assassin
Equipment: Winterblade + Volt + Life Stealer

Method:
All you need to do is stay back and shoot the infinitely spawning skeletons and zombies in the first boss wave with your B attack and move around if the boss shoots his magic balls, which are easily avoidable. You can build up the multiplier to 8 and also get 8000 points and gold medal in about 20-30 minutes.

Since you have the Life Stealer armor, life points isn't the matter here, in case you should get hit. Just take your time and play it safe.

Just go through a stage on normal difficulty and kill everything without ever taking any damage.

Stages where this has proven to be doable on include:
- Argosy Road (Assassin)
- Homecoming (Wizard)
- Asturi (Everyone)

Gnox on Homecoming on Normal

The last room before the end, you have a room with four Arrows/Blades (Whatever you like to calle them) where skeletons spawn.
If you enter here with 5 and a half Bonus (Bonus cirkel has a marker, showing how far you are) you can do it pretty easy with 1 kill to spear.

First I used my Ultra power to destroy the Sword skeleton and his spawn.
Next stand on the plate in the middle and kill the running skeletons and the crawling ones.
When the running skeletons are depleted, you can run up to the crawling to make it faster.

When that one also are depleted, time to kill the big skeleton with Gas bottles, I ran back to the middle and again used my Ultra skill and moved to the left side of where they spawn.
Now you need to wait for them to come out and jump on them with cn_Y and follow up with cn_X to kill and run back to same place again.
Im not sure if you can let them see you, they seem more intrested in getting in spot first and fight later.

I will try with a co-op partner if there is a easier way and if so, I will Edit.

This is what me and 3 friends did, we did the challenge map the aqueducts. All 4 of us went to the bright to the right and made a choke point. 2 of them were warriors. And me and another were assassins, me and him had the weapons that lets u do damage when you use your special attack. For the first two waves the warriors spammed attack and the assassins spammed Y. Then after the second wave all four of us dropped dropped turrets. And I think I threw out a monster bait. Hope that helps
