I would add that you can use the second valve as long as you don't actually fight the boss. If you fight the boss, the area fills with water and becomes impassable. Also, I ran around the last bit of this area looking for that wire catwalk. It's actually in the second area of the sewer, following your directions. All in all though, this was extremely helpful. Head back to St. Clarity and speak to Rebecca (the girl holding the boxes on the east side of town), then head into the sewers as part of the story. In the sewers you will find two items to inspect (see the video for their locations) to receive an orb. Bring this orb to Paulina and step outside to unlock the achievement.
