After completing the combat tutorial, you will visit several locations around town. After the cutscene in the Cathedral, you will unlock this achievement. It takes about 15 minutes total to reach that point.

Start the game, use the basic attacks to defeat the Goblins, remember to parry using 'A' when the enemy attacks, and mash A when attacking to get a bonus attack. You can skip any cutscenes with A too.
When you are in the garden, and the frog steals the rose, talk to the woman near the house, then go south, following the trail of red rose petals, and speak to the farmer and mayor, then the frog appears and shows you to go back left, following the trail of red rose petals again.
Follow this north and east to the fields, and speak to the girl, Polly, and then you see the frog again, which goes left, and you follow the trail of petals to the cathedral, then skip cut scenes and dialogue, and pick up the rose, skip some more, and when you exit, the achievement will pop.
