Start a game as Haesteinn of Montaigu in the 867 start. Make sure the game is on normal difficulty and ironman mode.
All you need to do is unpause the game without doing anything and the achievement will unlock and he already is at the highest prestige level.

Yeah, this doesn't seem to work anymore. Haesteinn isn't at the highest prestige level at the start, and needs 8000 prestige to get to next level (not sure if that's the highest). I managed to get about halfway there, before he died in his early 70s...

This doesn't work, as Haestein starts with Illustrious, goes to Exalted among men for 2000 Fame/Prestige, and then needs 15.000. for the level above.
