How to unlock the Lowest of the Low achievement in Crypt of the NecroDancer - Definitive Guide
Welcome to one of the more difficult modes in NecroDancer! As the name suggests this mode requires players to clear all of the nine base characters in a row, thus without dying. This mode is certainly meant for players that are more experienced with the game. In order for players to even stand a chance during this mode they should have at least cleared each character once, although it's highly recommended that players have completed every character more than once. This way players are more familiar with every character and will feel a lot more confident whilst playing them. That is definitely going to help a lot.
As bad as this mode sounds, there's one bright side to it. Players are able to choose in what order they want to complete all of the characters. This goes without saying that the hardest characters should be focused on first! If you're able to clear the hardest characters on this list, the easier ones should give you very little trouble.

]Monk
Monk is without a doubt one of the hardest characters in the game. When going for a regular "All Characters" run you definitely want him to be either your first or second character. The reason of this is because his extreme conditions. When playing as Monk it's really easy to step into gold. Moreover he has a really small health pool, which means most enemies can instantly kill him (therefore try to get armor asap) and his blood shovel is one of the worst shovels in the game.
Bolt
Bolt is another character that you want to have early on during your run. Double tempo makes everything a lot more chaotic and players will have very little time to react. Navigating through the levels and fighting off bosses becomes a lot harder and therefore it's no surprise he is considered one of the harder characters in the game.
Aria
Aria seems pretty difficult at first, but with enough practice this character is actually not that bad compared to the previous two. As long as you're able to keep up the beat consistently, Aria should still posses a reasonable challenge, albeit is nowhere near as difficult as Bolt or Monk.
Dove
Dove is another character that should be worked on quite early during your run. She might not seem difficult, but she is heavily RNG dependent. Some runs you might barely find enemies, whilst other runs you'll find a lot of enemies in a tight space, meaning it's easily to get trapped. Once you get trapped there's a high chance your run could be over, especially when you ran out of bombs or have no armor to protect you. She's a pretty luck-based character in general, therefore it'd be good to put her early on the list.
Cadence
Once players have managed to clear the previous four, better known as "The Big Four" it's time to start working on the less extreme characters. The next two characters (Cadence and Melody) can be played in any order, since they posses around the same difficulty spike.
Melody
Same story applies for Melody. She is definitely easier than the big four, but can still posses some trouble along the way. Make sure you gear up as soon as possible, since Melody has a relatively small health pool, which means she's very vulnerable.
Eli
If you made it this far, there's a high chance you might get a clear. The last three characters (Eli, Dorian and Bard) are the easiest ones on this list. Out of those three, it's recommended to start with Eli. The reason of this is because Eli is the hardest character of the mentioned three. Despite these characters being in the easier category, do not underestimate them at all cost! You can still die at this point, especially when you haven't played these characters as much as the other ones. Keep your focus.
Dorian
Dorian should be focused on as second last. His mechanics make him basically a tank, which makes him a lot more safer and stronger than the remaining characters on this list. He can take quite a few hits and his damage boost is going to help a lot. You're nearly there!
Bard
Last but definitely not least is Bard. Take all the time you want here. You definitely don't want to start all over at this point. Despite this character being very easy, do not let your guard down. Play it very cautiously!
After completing all of the nine characters mentioned above, you should finally have cleared this mode and unlocked your trophy! Hooray! Not bad, not bad at all! But what would you say if we did it again, but this time around without the use of any items nor shrines?
