How to unlock the Level 1 Completed on Easy achievement in Crypt of the Serpent King - Definitive Guide
Tips to help all stages:
be patient at start. dont mind pass on first try. colect as many xp and gold on first and second levels. to die is part of become stronger ;)
buy sword as soon as you can.
invest xp points in agilty and strength on start. so you can attack first and run to avoid be hit.
look down when you need to jump over pits. the speed is always the same, so you dont need "run" before jump. just get to edge and press UP+A to pass over.
kill enemys on room before get key
always get key when you see one. find it again after open all map is harder, cause are not marked on map
boss are marked on map with 3 horizontal lines together
aim become RED when enemy is in range. so dont press RT if not red or you,ll miss and be countered.
hp go above 100, so take food ALWAYS
anything else i forgot?

it also helps a load to turn brightness all the way up, to see enemies from further away.
also, the halbert for 2000 gold is a good purchase to use until you unlock the sword, as it is slightly lower damage and 0.1m longer range (halbert D=75 R=3.5 m $=2000, sword D=80 R=3.4m $=6000)

A few other thoughts are beating the first 5 levels on Easy
1) Swinging your weapon once before an enemy gets to you helps to trigger their swing animation and stops their forward movement. You can then hit them in between swings. This is especially helpful for stopping enemies that charge at you quickly like the Knight with the Halberd.
2) The music cues are very important to detect when an enemy has detected you. Learn to recognize the theme that starts to play when enemies are attacking you and be alert if you hear it when opening chests, lining up jumps to get keys or if you kill an enemy and it keeps playing, it means there are still enemies nearby.
3) For some of the harder platforming sections, such as Level 5 with the smaller platforms that are raised and shaped like octagons surrounded by lava, I found a running jump helps to jump on the island but found the most effective technique to reliably jump off the island was to look down with the Right analog stick, walk as close to the edge of the platform as possible, stop, then hit the jump button alone and then forward with the Left analog stick in quick succession.
It seems as though the game doesn't register your jump properly if you try a running jump down the stairs because you it doesn't let you jump midair as you descend the steps at certain points.
